I feel like based on the way he looked when maya said "you picked riley" and "i dont know what i like anymore" and how he smiled while saying "i actually did" when maya asked if he made a decision, he was most definitely gonna pick maya. But then the whole 'maya isnt maya' storyline happened and he got upset and salty that she was doubting her feelings after everything they went through. Kind like "what was this all for then if you didnt actually like me", hence why he was acting lowkey rude to maya in ski lodge. So he sent his mind on riley. Convinced himself that he liked her more and was the easier option. So he was all set on riley now

The thing is it should’ve been maya and lucas and riley and farkle bc thats how their energy would match. Lucas calms Maya down and Maya cares for Lucas, more than Riley does, which is seen esspecially when they were in Texas. And also, i believe that Lucas would’ve picked Maya in the end if Maya wouldn’t care that much for Riley to say that Lucas should go to Riley and say Riley that he loves her. If Maya wouldn’t be such a great friend i believe Licas would have chosen Maya. They complete each other and Lucas understands Maya while Maya also understands and really cares for Licas and don’t just want to see him doing everything. And also, Maya and Lucas always have real conversations and really talk to each other. Riley and Lucas are only watching at eachother awkwardly and saying only „hi“ for idk how long like nahhh Now to Riley and Farkle, they’re energy would mach more than Riley with Lucas, because they both have this happy rainbow energy well farkle has not that rainbow sunshiny energy but i hope you guys get what i mean. And Riley understands Farkle. And i‘m sorry for smackle hahah i think smackle and farkle would mach too but yeah just to like show my point. The thing is Riley either needs someone with that same happy, nothing-is-bad-everything-is-sunshiny-mindset or no one bc i have the feling that she sometimes is too much for Lucas for example. When riley stepped back for maya she made a real biiiiiiiig deal about it so it influences EVERYONE so everyone of course see it like that, that riley is the good holy friend and maya the bad one BUT when maya stepped back, her face expression right after she told Lucas to go to Riley says everything but of course NO ONE CARED like no one even saw bc maya was the better friends. She stepped back and suffered alone. Riley stepped back and made a HUGE deal of it like WHYYY TFFFF and everyone only tell that riley does anything for her fniends, well thats right but if it is sth that hurts herself she shows it the WHOLE WORLD while Maya is there for her friends and stepps back and is there anytime, but when she suffer from that, she does it quietly like thats why Maya is the even better friend to me

Still a better ship then him and riley. Riley and farkle were perfect together. I do like josh and maya but I'm sorry Lucas and riley just don't work so if maya picked Josh I feel like Lucas might have found someone else. But if maya picked Lucas they would be soo cute and good together.
