OMG that’s a super deal ! 6 of those heads are worth $50 alone. 350 just not enough spine for my set up. BTW .006 @ 1 time in life was a very common hunting arrow and .003 was the ultra straight before I think it was Carbon Express Blue Streak that came with a .001 ? If they group like that @ 40, you can kill anything anywhere with them. .244 is the standard diameter which is 6-6.2 mm. 5mm was the ultra thin(.204) and now today .166/4mm is the ultra thin. Point is ? History books have records with 6mm/.244 arrowed animals.

Just asking.... I tried the Grizzlystik test package and decided to run the 240 spine. However, my question is; when you tie in your D Loop, how do you get to your nocking location on your string due to the tapered arrow, and have it at the correct location? I mean its tapered so its not the same as nocking a level and parallel shaft.

Great review! People get to wrapped up in wasting money on expensive gear thinking that it will make them a better hunter . Indians tied sharpened rocks to riddled sticks and survived. This seems to be a great value for working class hunters on a budget but still need decent performance. Really enjoy your reviews and your enthusiasm.

The nocks & the 1 piece cut on contact head r 2 examples of their quality. That's a ridiculous value. If the shafts r durable then u could tune them to shoot off your bow much better than a .006 tolerance. Nice to see that so many deer won't get wounded by being shot with items like we've had in the past which is complete junk. Our future of being bowhunters lies in the quality of the equipment of those that get into the game now & not 25 years ago. All we can do is steer them in the right direction. Thanks John 😊.

Amazing! I agree on every point you made. If a person's budget won't allow more than $50.00, I think they would still be served well for a season using these arrows. They would also be great just to plink with and take ocasional small game or pest in the yard. If the arrow penetrates through a small varmint and hits a rock you're only out $8.33 or so.

I am shooting the lighted nocks from deepower this year. Had one in 8 not work but for the price I am happy. Ordered 12 more. They work really well but they do shoot differently than the std gold tip nocks. Again for the price they are hard to beat!. Great test idea and I am betting if you cut them down to a more standard length, cutting from both the nock end as well as the front you could really get some good straight arrows. Nice job once again.
@calebdan6796
@calebdan6796 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I bought 8 of them and have been shooting them while tuning all summer. I would say after around 50 shots and each, I still have 5 or six that work properly. They seem to short out if you nock tune with them and the switches have broke on a couple(but those with the broken switch still work, they are just difficult to turn off). The main issue I’ve had is turning the nock a bit while they are still in the arrow shaft. I believe it shorts them out. So sometimes they come on properly and sometimes they don’t. But again, I leave them in and shoot the crap out of them.

You provide a WEALTH of information! Thank you! As to spine charts: Do you think there will be a chart for people running more weight up front? I'm not doing anything crazy but even my 100 grain insert and 125 head.... Only thing the charts say is "You may need a stiffer spine if you are shooting more...".
@LuskArcheryAdventures

Yeah, some charts have that...or you can extrapolate them out to see where they fit with heavier points. But the charts are only "so" useful. Sometimes, with really heavy set ups, I find they're just wrong.

If I could Send you some Broadheads, the Ones I want are the Allen Silver 100grain design Sold at some Walmart's and Amazon but the ones that look like Wasp Bullet design but longer blades like a Muzzy Classic 100 Grain just not as wide only at 1 inch per blade. I have the Identical knockoffs that Chinese OEM makes in a 12 pack black at a about $5 more in price to the Allen but this is for 12 heads. I do have some of these heads in green as well but they are mainly for the blades (lost one in a small trash can taking them apart) as the light green is more shiny as is the yellow/gold color but not the red that always seems sold out from most brands selling the heads. The Knockoffs have a micro amount less of quality Control as the heads did need to do the Stropping to get rid of the part that happens during sharpening unlike what I have seen others test the Allen. I have a feeling these will only make it to the steel if that. They all weigh about 99---101 grains the heads I have. Also I have some smaller broad heads in similar style at .6 inches for each fixed non changeable blade made for small game at 100--110 grains and most of the places selling this head have had since 2021, a 125 grain option that sells out quick when they are in stock, I bet most selling to those using 125 grain Muzzy heads be it the MX--3/MX--4, the Classic 125 head, or even the Trocar as a small game broad head. This model comes in 3 styles a small cardboard case, a small snap open case (the two styles the identical Allen Knockoff has), and worst just in a bubble wrap inside an envelope.
