M1000R v S1000R on the drag strip

Жыл бұрынWe went spitfire raceway drag and drift on the m1000r and the s1000r. we got there late and ended up being the last drag race of the day. It was our first time there and didn't have time to prepare(our own fault being late).
They seemed to have a problem with the lights for the start of the race which was embarrassing for us.
I forgot to put the time it managed to do in the video, it done it in 11.8 seconds
We will be going again to do some proper runs and set the up bikes properly.

Funny drag race😂... BTW...the M1000R gets wobbly when accelerating hard? CaliMoto and BT Tune confirmed the weaving pattern when accelerating hard. I might have to order steering damper before getting the bike.😂

The damper that it comes with is adjustable, I’m not sure what it’s set too though. The drag race was almost a waste of time because we were last on and rushing. Next time I’m sure we will do better, now we know how bumpy the track is and the green light situation 😁

I’ve watched you launch your bike more than a few times. You definitely need to practice on that. You’re bogging it out when you let the clutch out the clutch and also that dragstrip sucks too many bumps.

Absolutely agree to both claims, the track was so bad that when I tried to change gear I totally missed it, i nearly came off the seat. As for launches…. I definitely need practice 😊 Thanks for watching and for commenting 👍🏼
