I didn’t realize how much work this took with chopping and smashing the meat and folding repeatedly until a desired consistency.. etc. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had more complicated/challenging recipes where I made them once and swore I’d never do them again. LoL What I’m trying to say is that I’m going have much more respect for the process next time I bite into a delicious fish cake at a Chinese restaurant. Well done, I appreciate the tutorial and I’m not as lazy as I sound, I’ll be trying this recipe for sure. LoL 👍🏼😊🌻

No--don't use sardines--the flavor is overwhelming and it's too fatty--you need firm white fish like cod, haddock etc.

That's called "dak" , correct? I may have spelled it wrong. Also used by western chefs.
