Youngsters to save Erik…. You mean Erik to build the new Manchester United with the youngsters. He’s exceptional at developing youth players and the likes of Mainoo, Garnacho, Hojlund and others coming through are very lucky to have a manager like him. The longer Erik stays, the more we get to enjoy young players coming through and competing against the best.

Hahahahah too funny man. He doesn’t even use Mainoo in his best position, always having Casemiro as the deepest midfielder. Hojlund doesn’t have even chances to run onto balls which is his strength, because this manager instructs his 40m goalkeeper to go long constantly. Garnacho is the only one he’s doing a decent job with. I support managers for a long time, unless they’ve lost their minds. Ten hag has lost his marbles, hence the inevitably deserved sacking coming his way👍

The reason Motta calls it a 2 7 2 is because the 7 rotate all over the place like you would see a midfield do. Their centerbacks routinely are dribbling to the byline and cutting it back. Calafiori is bananas to watch in that system. If you just walked in on the game you would think he was an attacking midfielder and not their center back with where he ends up on the pitch. Licha would absolutely thrive under Motta. Even Harry Maguire with the way he likes to get forward. Bologna are a joy to watch. I think them and Brighton are the most fun to watch pinball the ball up the pitch

We can't keep sacking a manager every two years. Yes we've been poor and no shape for the most part but for me the players are just as much to blame as the manager and coaching staff. Even if we went back to basics but everyone involved giving everything they had with a bit of pride we would start looking like a solid team on the pitch more often than not!

What is it you like about Onana may i ask? For me its a breath of fresh air to have a goalkeeper that wants to attack. I feel his hunger in trying to push for goal by stating attacks. He could assist a lot of goals a season if our team had balance.
