I made it a mission to find my dad when I was 38 years old. I finally found him and got to spend a day with him. It was the only time I ever got to meet him as he died less than a month later, but that one meal I got to have with him will never be forgotten. I love you Dad. Wish we could have spent more time together.

Sweet but also so sad. As a child whose dad deliberately abandoned them it breaks my heart that a dad that wanted to be there didn’t get to have that opportunity. So glad he was still alive so they could still meet each other and at least have those end years.

Besides my 2 grown children I don't have any close living relatives. My mother and father were only children so no aunts, uncles, or cousins. My only sibling has passed.....I would be so happy to find any relatives. I am very happy for him ❤

😭❤ I know what he's feeling. All of my immediate family are gone. My dad died at 47 when I was 16. And that's the last time I saw my only family member that I have left. He's my half brother. I know he lives in Kansas City but that's it. I have tried messaging everyone there with his name, no replie. I love that this guy is so happy and excited. ❤

I feel his joy, for over years I finally found my dad with no name. Did the same thing. However, he passed away many years ago. But I'm grateful beyond that I at least have a brother and a big family and have his name. Something as a kid I never thought I would. The amount of joy, happiness and gratitude could never be expressed in words.

But I have a niece and two great-nephews and the real kick is we lived within 30 minutes of each other for many years. I'm beyond happy for this man!! It's a thrilling to watch him knowing how he feels. ❤️❤️
