Making a Domed Eagle Pendant

3 ай бұрынThis wax an interesting project. I’ve never ventured into coin cutting into now. I quickly discovered that cutting a domed coin out is much more difficult as well! I really think the extra effort was worth the effect of the domed eagle.
This was just an interesting side project for me. I wanted to try making something with some cut coin element to it. I probably won't make another one but I did enjoy making it. If you love it, you can have it! $295 :) Add the sterling box chain for another $110.

@@CoinRingsfromTheMint Dear Skyler, you taught me everything I know how to make coin rings. Just made a silver walking liberty and sanded the inside but can't make it shinny like yours due to scratches. Any suggestions? Thanks!

@@user-sc7py7ut3q You need to get rid of the big scratches. I use a sanding drum (120 grit to start and then move to a white abrasive wheel and then to a grey abrasive wheel and finally a polishing wheel with green rouge. You go from coarse to finest in order to get a nice polish.

That's sick man. You ever put like some type of glow in the dark paint in the negative space? To get it to glow at night?
