Looks great. Put a bigger washer on the back. "Good use of my antlers" so you'll grow another rack this summer? And the open ended one mid stack? Probably the best position for it. Anything up near your waist is more likely to snag on something, bottom drawer? Maybe something dragging along the floor. And if it does start snagging stuff you can always drill a diagonal hole and insert a peg or clear lucite rod to 'close it up' so cordage and stuff rides over it. One thought I've always had looking at van builds and the ones at RV shows. Upper cabinets. These are usually boxes with right angles that can bang your head.... I always prefer the idea of hanging gear bags instead of cabinets. Not a hard and fast rule, just something to keep in mind. Do I really need a box up there? You can always put on in later. And me with tents, sailboats, dirtbag camping in my Tesla and my Prius V before it: Can I open up my eyes in the morning and look around? I didn't travel all that way to see the wood paneling inside my boat, nylon inside my tent.... Privacy? Even kipping in busy rest stops no one ever looks in the window.

Hazy - top tip for cutting threaded bar: Put 2 nuts onto the bar and tighten them against each other to lock into place where you want to cut, you can then use the upper one as a guide to cut against and then when you back the nut off over the cut end it removes most of any burrs and makes sure that the thread works with the nut. Bit of a rough file over and Hazy's your Uncle

Nice one :) You can bend the antler to touch the drawer front using some heat. Bolt it to your wood strip put a clamp over the wood and antler and then gently heat the antler and slowly tighten the clamp until the tip touches then leave it to cool. When you remove the clamp it should stay in place with the tip touching the wood.
