Converting my ford transit custom swb into a camper van. Part 1 includes sound deadening, insulation and the floor. I'm keeping a track of costs as I go and I'll do a full breakdown once it's all finished.

That insulation material looks so cloudy and fluffy especially against the nice sky like metallic blue of the vehicle 😮 and being recycled makes it even better

Been trying so hard to buy a van this year but the finances just won’t allow it yet sadly I’m so gutted as it’s the dream but so glad I get to watch you build a camper mate happy days it’s more motivation for me I’ll doing the same in the next couple of years… hope it brings u plenty of happiness mate good luck

Thanks guys. It's good to see people who actually know what they're doing on the KZfaq. I've had more than enough of people who've never changed a light bulb doing something 'For the Very First Time!' I think there must be some kind of international law or treaty that doesn't allow people who know how to use fiberglass and epoxy/resin to be on KZfaq. Anyway, it sometimes just seems. Me and vans? I want windows. I 'camp' in my Tesla Model Y, windows all around. On my boat I prefer sleeping up in the cockpit if I'm at anchor. Inside is the same place it is at the dock.

It doesnt look like wood but it still looks fu**kin AMAZING!!!! Incredible work! Its a home on wheels! Doesnt it get decent mileage as well? Van camping in the snow,with small wood stove at Vladd's castle,in Transylvanian forest? Ohhh the strange circle in Romania,where strange and paranormal things occur? Oh mate, if I'd known you were doing this a few weeks ago, I'd have sprayed the inside for you with our insulating cork coating! That would have sorted the acoustic and thermal insulation and made it cosy for you 😊
