It gives it the ability to use all three different types of star blades, the quick change feature for the bosch only works for 2 of the types

@@brettridings5594 I understand that. I use Bosch. It seems like this is more complicated for no reason at all. Bosch's multi tool and star lock system is superior in every way.

@@onetimewesawgod I'm not arguing, but that is the reason they did this, it can fit all three types instead of just the two. There's a lot of interesting choices made with this tool

@onetimewesawgod and I think it also gets a much better range of motion, I don't know why I'm thinking about this so much now but I fairly recently watched something explaining why they did what they did
