This video is to help with troubleshooting you may have when you first set up your unit. Specifically talking about if your heater "clicks" and does not light or lights and quickly goes out.

Thank you for this detail. My unit will only light immediately after replacing batteries (or opening then closing battery cover). There is about 10 seconds the igniter will click. I can turn on water an it immediately lights but ONLY while it is clicking. Any suggestions of troubleshooting the ignition? That is, Why does it click after replacing batteries but no water demand? I have checked connections to battery pack, plus contacts inside battery pack. Gas supply is good, water pressure is good. The response noted above suggests gas valve working, flow switch is also working.

My thermocouple connection was bad. I soldered it but can I just push the pointy part of thermocouple into wire after cutting? It seems like there was a ceramic piece that broke off. Or, where can I buy a new thermocouple? Mine looks just like this one

Hello, I have a device like this. When I turn it on, the spark turns on and makes a sound, tick, tick, but it does not ignite. Where is the problem? I suspect that the gas does not reach the heater. What do you suggest? Thank you

mine is leaking from above the microswitch. Is that repairable?

my gas heater only turn on if the gas tube is empty..open the water than the gas its working fine..there is any gas filter can be struck &?? thanks

My unit does not work on full blast wont even click please respond I spent money I dont have on this unit now it garbage to me it wont even keep my water hot for 3 seconds

I get gas to the magnetic valve, full tank, I hear the ignition clicking, I hear the valve open, ignition clicks for a time and then I hear the valve close when ignition stops. I tried many times to purge air from the unit but still no flame. All wires are firmly connected. Is there something else that prevents gas from reaching the burner assembly? Besides the micro water pressure switch, does that valve also control flow of the propane? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm actually having the exact same problem with the one I installed today. Solenoid seems to be working. Ignitors are sparking, but it's just not gassing up. Any luck on your end?

@@houndofcullin I think it was that middle pressure valve, the one connected to the water and gas pipes. I had an old one that was in bad shape and took the valve out of that one and it started working. Only other things I can think of are an air bubble between the magnetic gas valve and the burner or that thick black cable that's stuck onto the heat sensor for the burner isn't making good contact. I even heard if there's to much LPG pressure the valve wont let the gas flow. Do you smell any excess gas coming from it? Propane has a distinct odor.

@@houndofcullin Plus I'm using mine outside in sometimes below freezing weather, to keep a small pond just above freezing. Its possible the valve I had could've just froze shut while I was getting everything ready to run or they say there will be some water left inside the pipes from testing in new ones, that could've froze and then thawed out when I brought it inside to work on.
