I still have my green Invini Solar Hybrid inverter even though I now run the Victron multi plus. I have been thinking of using the Victron inverter to feed into the Invini solar and set the Invini Solar inverter as a grid tie. When there is not enough solar from the panels on the Invini Solar, it starts taking power from the Victron. Just not sure about the grid feed part. I don't want the Invini Solar to try and back feed into the Victron, that would be bad. I was also thinking I could run the power from my 24 volt test system into the Victron's AC input line, then set current limiting so the Victron assists the 24 volt inverter if demands exceeds the input..... so many option 🤔 If I didn't have a solar addiction, most people would just leave it alone but noooo.... I have to piss around with it some more to feed said addiction 😂😂

We love to play. Show people what is possible. Sometimes when testing the limits of gear like this, You let the smoke out from the inside. That is bad luck for us, and cost big $$$. But at least we learned something new. Many years ago when i started testing gear, there was a lot of smoke around.

@@JustinCaseSolarPower yes and I still smoke stuff from time to time. I did a test this morning, plugging in my 24 volt inverter into the Victron Multi Plus and it run ok, even did a video on it which is rendering out at the moment then I will upload it to KZfaq.

Go read this comment and my answer below. I did check and pass-through power rating before I set mine to 8kW but failed to mention that precaution in this video. I set it right in my answer to Davids Comment. Just make sure you do the same check when you set yours up. Most people in normal homes don't realise the 5kW is big enough to run 99% of their loads.
