The rivet simply was worn out. I put a countersunk screw in the rivet post that holds the crane so it sits level again. It can still turn around. Thanks for the kind words!

Dank je! Ja, ik gebruik Tamiya TS13 als clear coat, ofwel X-22 gloss clear met de airbrush. Eerlijk gezegd is de acryl verf zeer kwetsbaar, zeker zonder blanke laklaag. Dus zeker niet te gebruiken als er nog mee gespeeld gaat worden 😅

ah ok. Zelf gebruik ik altijd drie lagen Motip automotive clearcoat. kan ik ook polijsten enzo, geeft een zeer duurzame glanslaag. maar bedankt voor de opheldering.

if anyone has problems fitting a new plastic hook theres a simple method - turn everything upside down on a flat surface, double check the hook is going to be facing the correct way then push the models pivots down onto the hook, ideally with the hook _about or over_ vertical, this gives equal pressure, avoids using any tools in a delicate area and leaves the push in points underneath the hook pivot. Decent resto btw, I like the test assembly stage, good practice that.
