Danny chose wisely casting this film in particular the Trunchbull . The makeup artist did an amazing job creating the Trunchbull also.

@@reyisnotamarysue1195 they changed it to be more amarican. While the original was written by an british author and was also set in britain during the 1960s. The film adaptation of the musical is set in England during the 60s, which makes it closer to the original novel.

I'm British and I thought the musical was dreadful. The 1996 version forever. Pam Ferris represented the British-ness in this the ultimate version.

Matilda is an extraordinary child, distinguished by extreme intelligence and supernatural abilities. The brutal headmistress (Agatha) is trying to torture the gifted child. I recommend watching the film with the family. I have watched it more than twice. Very enjoyable comedy. (Ebtehaj)

Miss trunchbull is incredibly strong💪and she's a big powerful woman and her strength is incredible and she looks heavier than 195 Ibs and looks taller than 5ft7 and she looks like she's 5ft10 and 220 lbs of bulk and she might be even heavier than that and she's a monster and i reckon she's even stronger than Arnold schwarzenegger and i reckon she would give Arnold schwarzenegger a run for his money and just imagine if they both had a fight and miss trunchbull would win all the way as she's proper mental and she's a nutter but there again Arnold schwarzenegger might just hedge it.
