Miss Honey's personal life relating to her job in the school is definitely something that students would understand with teachers now.
@WebExaminer8 жыл бұрын
This was EXACTLY my confusion with teachers that bully their students. If the children were truly misbehaving beyond control, contact the parents or guardians immediately. Better yet, if they can't stand children, why did they choose employment where they are surrounded by them all day in the first place?
@howlingguardian90058 жыл бұрын
+WebExaminer I think the reasoning for Trunchbull was so she could torment the kids all day long
@A13XLaircey4 жыл бұрын
I had abusive teachers once... had Ms. Trunchbull's personality, was the aide over special needs elementary schoolers, most were nonverbal autistic. Luckily she never force fed us cake or threw us out windows or locked us in mideval torture devices, but she sure wasn't Mary Poppins either... (She would twist wrists and squeeze jaws and pull hair and twist arms and drag kids across the floor, just for using their left hand, saying "no", sitting on the floor during a meltdown, picking their nose or biting their nails and not stopping immediately...)
@A13XLaircey4 жыл бұрын
Like really, I'm not even kidding.

I also had my chemistry teacher abusive. She would verbally abuse girls which she hated more than boys, and she hated braids, pigtails and long hair. She would yell at kids non stop and use a long stick to threaten them, or hit them with a book on their head.
@jonnyb.animationstutorials71192 жыл бұрын
It's complicated. Ms. Trunchbull herself says the thing she hates about kids is they take too long to grow up, and sometimes she feels like they do it on purpose just to annoy her. It may not be so much the kids, but rather how they act. She's very short tempered when people around her don't act like how she wants them too, so Yes, I agree, she picked the wrong career. I'm not sure why real life teachers might abuse their students. It might just be to feel powerful. I personally never had teachers that abused any students, although, we did have a student punch a teacher for no reason at all.
