i've had this friend. perhaps the only true friend i've met in my entire life. he was my best friend, every day we spent together was a colourful memory. i've always been a sad person, my days tend to be grey, but whenever i saw his smile my whole day converted into the most colourful piece of art. it's like being with him was that warm sunset you see after coming back from a long long day. i never got the chance to tell him how much i appreciated him. how much i liked him. how much he made me happy. i always tried to keep myself away, trying to not get attached to him. now there isn't a single night where i don't want to be with him, where i don't want to go back where we were together and tell him how much i loved him and that i still love him. even tho he's away, i will never ever forget him. i know he's never going to see this. so this is just an empty comment on one song that reminds me of him. so please. tell the person you love how much they mean to you. how much you love them. there's nothing to lose. you won't regret later if you do it.

I really feel this :((( The thing that hurts so much more than I ever could've known is that in my own situation there's always a chance I may talk to them again. That ill defined borderline I walk hurts more and more every day as time moves on.

TThis song speaks so much volume to me. It's sad how underrated Matt is, I discovered him by accident not long ago and I fell in love with his music. The feeling of nostalgia hits whenever I listen to this song, remembering the moments I had with the people that meant so much to me --that I no longer have. No matter how much you try to save what you both had with a person when it's finished, there's nothing you can do about it except accepting the matter of the situation. :) We grow as we go, but right now I'm just gonna drown and cry by myself in these momentary lapses of sadness whenever I think of you. :) It honestly sounds different when you're alone, so vulnerable. Thank you for this. :)

My ex broke up with me put of no where with little to no explanation and I didn't really process it well so I wasn't initially as sad as I thought. Until a couple months ago when it really hit that she left me while I still loved her and im alone now. I texted her trying to get a reason but got nothing. This song and Matt's music really pulled me out of my sad pit and let me realize that "Life goes on" . Moral of this is that it's okay to be sad and upset as long as you know when to move on

Never got the chance to tell a really close friend how I really felt about her before she told me that she was expecting a baby. Deep down I was hurt but I know I could never make myself to hate her. Waw this song is sooo beautiful and deep...I felt the emotions from his voice and the video itself expresses well with his lyrics...also Idk why ...but he reminds me of Chris Martin from Coldplay lol...like I felt like his powerful voice and the lighthearted and sweetness of it reminded me of Chris Martin, sorry for my comparison but that was my first thought haha....However I still think his voice is unique and beautiful....I searched this song up because I saw it highlighted from a member of BTS, his name is V also known as Taehyung....I'm happy that he shared the name of this artist because it's the first time I have heard of him....when I googled him I saw some recommendations and listened one of his recent songs in 2021 before listening to this one that was shared by V....the name of the song I think was "We need to talk"...That song is also beautiful...I hope more people can seek his music and learn more about him, so far I'm intrigued....Anyways I blabbered a lot....Just here to say well done Matt Maltese!! I'm happy Taehyung/V from BTS acknowledged Matt Maltese's music. I discovered Matt last year and couldn't stop listening to his songs because of how raw and painstakingly beautiful they are. With Tae's acknowledgment, more people would get to know Matt and recognize his talent for making such masterpieces. I knew from the start he deserved to be known. I'm really in awe that V was able to recognize a talent right away and even said he's jealous of those who discovered Matt Maltese first. He truly has an exceptional taste for music. Anyway guys, listen to Matt Maltese and BTS! Both are superb.

This hits deep on so many levels. Not only are the lyrics a masterpiece, your voice is like a comforting blanket in troubled times. Currently sitting at work feeling lost and stressed out and listen to this son on repeat. For every time I hear the song I hear something I didn’t think of the last time. Thank you for giving me the peace I need to go on though this day. This song also makes feel that it’s okay to break up with my work in a not to far future.

V (Kim Taehyung) of BTS just posted a reference to this song on Instagram, so this will likely blow up now. It’s why I’m here. Beautiful. 💜 EDIT: I was correct. Sorted comments by Newest and I can see it’s been blowing up for quite a while. Whatever music the BTS members recommend or cover is fantastic and brings lots of well-deserved attention to the artist.
