@@skillben8813 I should mention that even LMSH is standing there after intensive therapy because before he was able to learn and counter all of Malenia's attacks, she obliterated his ass an indefinite number of times. And I still think that for the full effect of FromSoftware best boss, she shouldn't have such a ridiculous vulnerability to bleeding and frostbite. As well as funny pots that can be used to knock down her ultimate move. Moreover, we all already know that she was essentially nerfed in the release, since initially she was much tougher. The same LMSH in this mod was on the verge of defeat - and this was his best pass, which he posted as the final result.

Fun fact about Waterfowl Dance, you can reliably dodge 100% of the attack if you do 3 things correctly. When she jumps, sprint directly away until the first flurry stops. Dodge straight toward her when the second flurry starts. When the last part starts, chain two dodges, first toward her, then again in the same direction you dodged (She'll be on the other side of you if you did it right so the second dodge will be away from her) Takes a little bit of practice to get it right but once you learn it, you'll almost never get hit at all by Waterfowl Dance. It's unfortunately the most complex series of dodges ever needed for a FromSoft game. I learned it by watching Let Me Solo Her go apeshit once, I was summoned at the same time as him, and we utterly stomped her first phase.

And that is not even the only way, a frost pot will triger frost imiadiatly and stun her of you are close enought and fast enough and you can also use a good shield with Barricade (or something like that) ti tank the whole combo if you have enought stamina.

I found Running works on phase 2 then continue to run away until the second half of the third to dodge into her. If you have the endurance you can then strike her with a rolling attack

you can actualyl tank water fowl dance in phase 1 if you use a great shield with 100 phys. abs. although she does heal even though she doesn't damage you. in phase 2 however...... the scarlet rot damage will kill you

Doing Ordina on my current playthrough discovering they have nerfed the range of rock sling since my last time playing a sorcerer, 100% agree, that town is a special kind of hell, not for the fodder assassins, just off hand sentry torch and two hand weapon of choice, no FOR THOSE VILE ROOFTOP ARCHERS! Personally found Darkeater Midir harder than Nameless King, but Escanor comparison is not inaccurate, also props to the VA, that line about making Caelid look like a joke went hard

Interesting thing about Astel is that hackers found a ton of cut assets around it that showed the encounter was different at one point. For one thing Astel has an unused meteor attack similar to Radahns meaning he would have been fought on the surface at one point. Some cut area collision has been found and it seems a cut area where Astel would have originally crashed. Zullie the witch also found it was likely that the arena you fight Estelle in was originally designed for another Ancestor spirit fight. All this cutting is what likely resulted in the second Astel fight they wanted to have being thrown into a random mine because they cut the larger area it was supposed to be in.

Killing Millicent gets you the prosthesis which increases dex and strengthens successive hits Helping her gets you rotten sword talisman which does the same but stronger but no dex upgrade. You also get the needle which you need to get out of the frenzied flame ending Also you can stack both talismans which is really nice

Ordina really puts the night of the black knives in context. They did that to ALL THE DEMIGODS INTERRED IN THOSE WALKING CARPETBOMB FACTORIES! Also, I'm like 90% sure there's a hardcounter to the invisi-shanks. It's either an item or a spell that was specifically developed by the Golden Order after the night of the black knives. It reveals them to sight, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it.
