They all fight for J-hope’s attention lol. They want to hear praises from him since he is their dance leader (really detail oriented and patient) and also an incredible performer who makes little to no mistakes on stage. Also he is a tidy guy, always on time for every schedule. Always buys them gifts and he seems to have no flaws at all. He always strives to be on his best behavior and keep their spirits up . So yes I would want to get praises from him too..

Honestly I admire the way Jimin doesn’t hesitate to express his emotions. He doesn’t shy away from saying “I love you” or just initiating physical affection. He puts himself in other people’s shoes easily. Jimin is always very aware of the people around him and he seems to enjoy being there for others. He’s always the first to hug and wipe the members tears. I am someone who struggles a lot in expressing my feelings. I rarely say I love you or even hug others. Jimin inspire me to express my feelings to my loved ones more.

Jin is always so confident but as soon as people start to compliment him he gets very shy/embarrassed and his ears turn red and I find that very endearing

Jin's personality is like a chameleon I think. In the best way. He's different with each member. If you dive into their individual dynamics, Jin has deep conversations with RM and Suga. But when he's with JK or Jimin he's like a playful child. With Tae he's a caring big brother because he knows Tae is more sensitive than other members and with J-Hope, his drinking buddy, he's just loud and fun. He's so much more than the jokester personality that we often see.

That time tae was going through hard time it’s when he wrote blue & grey that is about depression members wrote him festa letters where they are telling him to open up and talk to them and they are here for him which was really heartwarming and sad that’s why he looks more quiet here

It's not just Tae who wants Hobi's complement, it's all the six members, specifically in their dancing skills. Examples are when Hobi complimented Namjoon about him improving in dancing, he really looks cool, and joon said he will not regret even if he'll die now, yoongi is not different all smiley and flustered by the compliment, lastly Jungkook requested/demanded to hear Hobi saying he's good at dancing, Hobi was shocked because you know he looks up highly in Jk's dancing skills but then the members are like it's different when you get to be acknowledged by the dance leader, the feeling is euphoric... As always I enjoyed watching your reactions and comments as well as learning more as I too struggling in communicating with people, thank you for the video reaction!

You are right about Jin, he adores them and shows it with acts of service or playing and joking with them but you rarely see him cry or be serious emotionally. I feel that he is insecure not about his appearance, but about his work (with no reason) and whenever they give him compliments he makes a joke or minimizes it. He's amazing an inspiration for us

Thanks for the video! Ive always felt that Jimin is the emotional center of the band.. They credit him with remembering people's birthdays and making sure those days were celebrated, which is something that the rest of the band were not used to initially. He takes care and notices how each is doing emotionally. Their connection as a band, as friends, is amazing.

Well since day one Tae admired Hoseok, he though he was the visual and the star among the trainees. Hobi is such a complete artist even now so it's make sense... even more than that, Tae said in an interview he'll walk around full of pride if he has Hoseok's talent but what he admire more about his hyung is how caring and selfless he is. 😊

I think what namjoon meant that v will never listen to him because in his early days, v is very playful, cheerful, unique and easy to be misunderstand to the point that you will think he will never listen to you. But he remember every little things and details the members said.

I would really love you to react to the BE-album interviews that the members did on each other. It like one-on-one conversation about the album(self produced) and their thoughts and process behind it. 🙏

Since BTS are genuine to each other and to their ARMYs, it’s easier for them to open up, talk about their struggles and differences, compliment each other, tease each other and express their gratitude towards the members and their fans. These are the major reasons along with their music, personalities and talent that we love and support them unconditionally. We will stay with them until the end no matter what. BTS are the best! There’s nothing like BTS!

It's kind of a thing to eat loudly in Korea. It indicates that you are thoroughly enjoying your food. As they say, you are eating it deliciously.

Jin really doesn't like showing his sad/emotional side. I remember he specifically asks staff to cut his part at an interview because he felt like he got too dark. His solo songs are usually very sad, but he will occasionally release happy songs meant to cheer Army up

Jin, by his own admission, is a little uncomfortable with attention. His turns red (especially his ears) when all eyes are on him. I think he is more a do-er then a say-er for showing his love. He's known for his "Hyung will do it" or "Let Hyung do it" moments, "Hyung" being himself and there are videos that highlight this. As in Hyung will do, get or make whatever it is the others need. But, that's not to say he isn't ever sincere with his words. They are all multi-faceted personalities so words, actions and emotions vary from video to video. Really enjoying your reactions :)

you pointed out why j-hope is so interesting to me - he comes across as this super outgoing guy naturally but in reality, he's really mirroring peoples' energy and creating comfortable environments by ensuring everyone feels acknowledged and heard, adding more to the conversation only when it needs that extra fuel. He's incredibly empathetic and in tune with everyone's energy, which isn't praised enough!

You read j-hope well. He has said that he felt in their earlier years that he needed to keep up their energy and guide the other members. He was mostly talking about this in reference to being the dance leader, but he also does this with conversation and on-camera moments.

jin and yoongi had this really interesting conversation during the soop where they discussed motivation among the members and how much they worked, and jin said that seeing yoongi work that hard made him try harder too, so I guess he really meant it when he said yoongi boosts his energy :)

Jimin and Yoongi's relationship name is "Tom & Jerry", They gave themselves that name because they like to annoy each other hahahaha

yoongi used to have trouble expressing his feelings he usually would save it for his lyrics (many people called him cold and misunderstood him but he just didnt know how to say his feelings but he shows it a lot with many things like cooking the guys food for example) but in recent years hes opened up a lot more and especially ever since his shoulder surgery he looks so much happier and has more energy hes still reserved but theres a big difference if you look at clips from october 2020 and before and you look at clips feburary 2021 to present day you can see literally a lot was taken off his shoulders hes much more relaxed and happier and energetic. i feel like when you watch clips of them in 2013 they all have child like energy then as the years go on you can see all the older members mature and calm down and slowly the younger members do the same they all have their fun child like moments but you can see the transitions from teens to early 20s to late 20s and how they all are now compared to then. some fans assume things because of that but bts spent many different stages of life on camera theyre still the same but also different and thats normal and okay.

I'm terrible at communicating, and your analysis has helped me improve. taehyung is unique & has so many layers of personality that makes it hard for some people to understand him. he's unpredictable, can be shy, confident, loud, quiet, funny, serious. one can't box him in & so he is often misunderstood. he always listens, even when it looks like he doesnt & has an amazing memory. one thing that remains consistent is that he is always himself; he won't say/ do things for the camera (as an example once jimin was crying & taehyung led him to a room with no cams to comfort him, jin mentioned in a vlive that he was sad because no one was wishing him happy birthday so tae got all of his friends to congratulate him, when jungkook was injured he waited outside to talk again with no cams, etc.) for me to fully grasp his personality, see the deep way he cares about the members & army, I watched lots of individual videos about him. he's truly a free spirit & he also went through various depressive phases (when his grandparents who raised him died, a friend committed suicide & in 2020 where he wrote blue & grey as well). he is doing much better now & in videos from 2021 & 2022 he's truly shining & talking, interacting with the others much more:) during the recent concerts he's been so playful & full of life, it's great to see!

Yoongi gets misunderstood a lot. Especially on their early years. He was stereotyped as cold. Yoongi isn't as showy when it comes to showing feelings. He used to shoulder everything alone. I think you'll understand more once you get to know his past and listen to his self produced mixtapes

If you watch them for a while, especially the behind the scenes meetings and things like that, you notice that J-hope is very focused on taking in information in meetings he listens quietly and considers everything before speaking, and sometimes one of the others will say something near to what he’s been thinking and he will just agree or add a small amendment to it.

I love how they recreated their 1st anniversary. It really showed us how they growed but at the same time they stayed the same hahahha

I wonder if what Suga meant is not that he has trouble finding words to express what he's feeling, but that he finds it emotionally to bring those feelings out in the open, which it probably why, as you have mentioned, when he *does* speak, it's something worth listening to.

from an outsider perspective, taehyung is sometimes seen as cold or uninterested because sometimes he appears quite blank-faced or generally disinterested from his expressions but he's said in the past that he doesn't believe in attributing facial expressions to how people are feeling.

Jungkook's confidence and comfort in broadcasts has absolutely grown over the years, the guys have mentioned when he first joined the group he barely spoke up. He was always taken care of as the youngest but in earlier years they had to encourage him to engage more, now he does it freely. 💜💜

I feel that Jungkook has become a lot less introverted over the last few years and I think Jin has helped in that. They do silly things together on stage and I think Jin’s playfulness makes JK realise that you don’t have to be serious to be an adult. SUGA seems happier. He’s always been able to step up and answer criticisms thrown at them but now he’s enjoying life. RM sees Hobi as his second in command. He’s there attending to his members and infusing them with energy while RM steps up to lead and protect. Taehyung is certainly unique. He may have calmed down a lot but that mischievous boy is still in there. They all want validation from SUGA and Hobi. Jimin is hard on himself and used to be hard on the others but JK and Tae set him straight so he’s lost a lot of the anger he was harbouring. He’s now not just a cutie, loverly, sexy guy he’s now cutie, loverly, sexy, sweet guy.

just to clarify, when namjoon mentioned that his first impression of V was that he would never listen to him, it was more int he sense of elders talk about kids like, 'oh, he/she never listens to me.' sort of way cause namjoon is older then V. cause V is very mischievous and a very unique person and namjoon thought it would be different to manage him but they all just fit together so well.

Jungkook joined BTS when he was 16 (younger than that actually) he's from Busan and literally a little boy since the members are already in their 17+. He is actually very shy and less talkative but his brothers(BTS) Always make him participate in every of their activities, especially Jin since he's the oldest. He almost leave the group tbh, bit Jin n Namjoon comfort him and encourage him to not to leave. He's start opening up as he grows up.

Jin and Yoongi have the same personality type (INTP). Both get shy and sometimes feel awkward when others compliment them. But their reactions make them cuter. Hehe. You should also watch a compilation of BTS showing love to Yoongi too.

The area BTS live in is a huge closed off neighborhood where a lot of celebrities live and is one of the most expensive neighborhood in Seoul. Basically it has everything starting from grocery stores, Michelin star restaurants, and anything you can think of. So its easy for them to just drive to a grocery store and not have to clear it out before hand from public.

If you could react to their very first festa that’d be awesome. I think it’ll be interesting to see how much has changed :D

The reason why V wanted to hear Jhope praise him so much is because usually he praise on the dancing when it's really great, so all the members that are not in the dance line, and V at the time wasn't in the dance line, but he is now, want Jhope to praise them. Even Jin said that whenever Jhope smiles at him during a performance he is at his happiest.

You might want to know they all go to psychologists, just a small info there. I believe Yoongi isn't a natural in sharing his feelings but that he actively tries to (and does) when he has processed them. It also helps he is in a better place regarding his depression and social anxiety (or it might be the cause, idk). Looking foward to FESTA 2021 next! Its start has some really interesting answers!

V loves getting compliments. RM once said that the way to encourage Tae to work harder and improve is just boosting his cute lil ego 😂 It's quite endearing, Tae has retained many child-like qualities even though he's a sophisticated superstar now.

Well...To be honest, I feel like JK got over his shyness many, many years ago. He simply just allows his hyungs to speak as a sign of respect. He's always been extremely playful. In fact, in several interviews (2018 and 2019) when asked who was the funniest member of the group, the whole group said Jungkook. I think he's just perfectly respectful and quiet when necessary. But he was veryyy shy as a trainee before their debut in 2013. I would say it didn't take him long at all to acclimate. Also UGH Jhope. Love him to BITS. Love all 7 to bits. They were fated to be together.

You should really react to one of “TaeTae Fm”’s episodes. It’s a show V hold for army’s once in a while where he plays music n has fun w army :) U can get to know about V’s personality from it :)

I think you’re right about bts all being leaders in their own right. Rm is their official leader and spokesperson for the public; but jhope is definitely a leader that the other members have acknowledged in their performances and choreo; Jin is naturally respected as their oldest hyung and silently signals and corrals them when needed; suga is definitely a wise leader and their music master; Jimin is the natural kind of leader when needed whether it’s communication as he did when he was project manager for their ‘be’ album, him being funny, being emotionally open; v is a leader in their unique and creative ways as he did for their ‘be’ album; and jk now coming into his own - he was always the youngest but now he’s confident enough to lead in their choreos or singing styles, or just being funny

Yoonji have mentioned that when he need to energize he asks for JHope. They all are really good showing their brotherly love and not ashamed of it that what makes them unique than other groups .

yes i forget too. BTS gives me happiness just by watching them. and compared to other celebs they are just so normal and kind guys who works hard and love eachother. other kpop groups may have talent and hard work, but we don´t feel their personality. their connection with fans. and they aint afraid to show when they made a mistake that amazing.

Taehyung has become more reserved over time and has only opened up again more recently. As a fan it was quite a drastic change from what he was usually like. I remember it was in the 2017 gogo halloween ver that I really noticed the change. That he just seemed so reserved and out of character. And a lot of ARMY at the time were really worried about him because it was such a sudden change. But then over time, as he stayed the same people stopped wondering what happened and just assumed his personality had become more reserved as he had gotten older. I think I remember people saying one of his close friends (Lee Ui Soo) died around that time which could of affected him alot. But before 2017 I would say he was on level with J-Hope’s energy.

hi so i don't know if you saw my comment on your last bts video where you reacted to them reacting to themselves (lol) but I wanted to recommend the "wings tour seoul dvd commentary" which is basically them reacting to their concert. I feel like you can see how taehyung wears his heart on his sleeve and just how supportive he is of the members. you can always find him praising them, supporting their projects, even professing that he wants to marry them lol. anyway in this 2020 festa video when namjoon said his first impression of v was that he wouldn't ever listen to me, he meant bc he's mischievous/a rascal (he's said this before), and not because he's disengaged as you say a lot (though I hope you start to see how attentive he is as you watch more videos bc tbh the impression you have of him felt very off in previous videos). also to give you cultural context to the conversation between jimin and v at 24:11 when jimin says he feels sorry about speaking harshly to tae, basically in korea, people of the same age are called "chingus" which means friends. they both even have a song together called friends where they call each other soulmates and profess how much they adore each other. so same aged friends tend to socially bicker more and its considered a very precious relationship, yoongi has even expressed that they were lucky and that he wants one. namjoon and hobi are also chingus. anyway jimin and tae said that they grew together and have learned to apologise and communicate so much better bc of the dumpling fight (so cute). also taehyung ADORES his members. so I hope you learn about him more until you don't find comments like him wanting praise from jhope surprising bc that's something that can easily be picked up if you watch them consistently. anyway good luck with your journey !
