Күн бұрынI am totally dismantling this Maytag Centennial Washer MVWC model with a bad transmission. The washplate has frozen onto the gear shaft and the drive hub is stuck. I will use a bottle jack to try and remove the stuck transmission

I screwed some screws in the washplate holes and pulled mine out with pliers

it does just pull straight off , just a little stuck but it will

Has anyone but me tried using WD40? Sprayed it around inner part of wash plate, waited an hour, and it slid right off.

I wonder if you would have pour boiling water on if that would have busted it loose?

Found a small black round hose 3 t0 4 inches long in my filter. Really hard piece ,what could this be be?
