Mazda have said the internal sound cannot be disabled initially for 'safety' 🙄 .. but are considering the option.

@@nickbien when I saw it on a Mazda FAQ page that's exactly what I thought; Mazda UK: Q. Can the internal engine noise be deactivated? A. No it cannot, this is due to safety reasons.

The previous Mazda models (about year 2012-2018) had about the same screen but with touch as well. For this next generation (new 3, CX-30 and this one), they removed the touch due to safety, in order to prevent people from distracting themselves too much when using it while driving. Judging from the rest of the interior in this generation, I’d say they are learning from notably BMW and perhaps other german brands in the design, with the simple layout, focus on the driver and driving dynamics, screen far up and far forward, nice materials, and the rotary dial thing for interacting with the screen that you complained about. I’m not such a fan of this rotary dial solution either, but I believe BMW should get the real blame for this solution.

May I suggest a few lights tests (that my CX-5 used to fail miserably): 1. Driving with regular incoming traffic. 2. Driving where street lights are visible way to the side of the road like night lights of factories, petrol stations, or adjacent roads. 3. Driving down narrow roads where plantation on both sides creates a tunnel-like effect. 4. Driving through road construction zones with lots of provisional signs. Also I noticed at some point that most of the time, the car wouldn't turn on all LEDs in Auto even when there's no incoming traffic whatsoever, nor any light sources to the side. This is easily revealed by turning on the manual high-beam.

Can you tell me if you ever did a range test of a Tesla model X 75D 2018 model year. If you did what is it??

Hi Bjorn! I'm wondering if the Tesla Model 3 long range has 72kWh and the standard range plus has a 50 kWh battery why does it seem the range is only maybe 10% better at 110-120km/h? Thank you!

Bjorn, does the car offer a quick way to correct Auto false positives? This is a crucial feature that past Mazda models didn't offer.
