I have a favorite quote in regards to being powerful and not using your power unless absolutely necessary- "It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than to be a gardener in a war."

I’m a personal trainer and a big fan of Power Project. Not just because of the awesome content and conversation, but because all three of you exemplify what it means to be a strong , masculine man. I am blessed to have a fabulous husband, two brothers and a dad who are all wonderful “real” men who treat their wives with respect and as partners. I meet so many men afraid to embrace the masculine energy as if it’s an offense to women. Unfortunately, I also meet many women hellbent on trashing guys who are confident and strong. Men and women are different, we compliment each other. Relationships thrive not when one partner dominates and the other submits, but when we work together for the benefit of the team. Keep up the great work guys!

Hey bro my wife and I waited until we were 38 before we had our kid. I can only speak for myself but I'm glad we waited, I'm a much more chill, wiser person and a better dad than I would have been 10-15 years earlier. Either way, you will love being a dad whenever it happens.

Sometimes I feel I fucked up having my daughter at 25. I've fucked up alot in life so it has caused me to be more behind compare to others..but man I just wish I was more stable, as in a house instead of an apartment. 2 cars instead of 1. Idk maybe I ain't appreciating..idk

Hey Nsima I feel you about being an 'older' dad. I didn't have my first child until I was almost 37, and I'll be 39 this December. I just wasn't in a place mentally in my 20's and early 30's, and I finally got to a place where I felt good to have one, so I did. Do you brother, take your time. Love the podcast. Between this one and Mind Pump, my brain is assailed with knowledge and experience from all directions lol.

Hey love the podcast guys. I’m recovering from several major long term injuries including a bilateral foot crush & ulnar nerve damage in my right arm. I was a huge victim for a few years after traditional drs and physios you name it failed me. I had zero confidence. Like negative confidence. It’s still extremely low. But now I’ve learned to to only learn and take advice from the best and I have a kickass long term plan and a ton of knowledge I’ve compiled and honestly based off the results I’ve had the last 9 months I know more about fixing hands/arms than a specialized hand/arm physio. I still have another 1.5-2 years until my arm is fully functional again and I’m psyched everyday! The bilateral foot crush is gonna be a longer journey I’m 27 now and I’m expecting it to take till I’m around 40 until I have strong functional feet where I can hike and handle uneven terrain. But I know what to do and I’m getting results 💪🤟 Love you guys y’all are awesome making this handicapped guy feel like he has friends lol ❤️🔥🇨🇦

this came to my mind.... but i think the jordan peterson comparison to "level up" is being in the zone of proximal development for any endeavor or effort, whether it's picking up new skills or advancing existing ones also, i can't tell if Nsima is saying "woman" for both the singular and plural use cases haha
