The Sandy River falls 54' over 4 different drops. We've been going to Smalls Falls ever since we were kids. The water of the Sandy River is especially cold this far north but it's a great compliment to a hot day.
Maine is having a bit of a drought this year so the volume of water coming over the falls is down from what we'd normally see. Maybe we'll head back in the spring and catch another bit when the river is running high.
Still working on the camera settings but I'm getting closer to the look that I want. We also had two near crashes - luckily, neither were fatal for the Phantom. However, both left the Phantom dirty and left me with a pulse rate of over 9000!

Love it! Smalls Falls was one of my favorite swimming holes growing up (and my dad loved the cliff jumping--though I stuck to the little one on the bottom falls). Excellent video--will be sharing it as part of a post I'm writing about western Maine travel.

+Dispersed Camper Man Thanks a lot Camper Man. I felt the same way, wanted one forever and just finally dropped the hammer. It's a good bit of fun but it can be a touch nerve wracking flying in the relatively tight quarters of some gorges.

Yeah, I'll be sweating bullets flying it around in some of the dispersed locations I go to. But the footage looks amazing. Nothing like a birds eye view. Keep up the good work.
