16 жыл бұрынHA HA HA Finally! I finished my own version of this beautiful song from Final Fantasy IX!!! I hope you all like it okay! It took a whole month longer than I would have liked, but the end result, well, just listen!
^0^ I used a lot of vocal layering and performed the violin, drum, and guitar parts as well!
I didn't want to do a video for this one, mostly because I found incredible fan art online from many talented artists and decided to make this a full fan creation! ^0^ I always LOVE feedback of any kind, so if you have any please comment!
*I dedicate this video to the character of Freya, because of all the characters this song's words and meaning fit her inner struggle the best. ^_^

This song comforted my through high school bullying and my severe depression. At this moment I'm getting my second degree and it started to play I almost cried thinking of how much I would have missed if I had ended all back then. Thank you for existing Kate

This is one of the most beautifully well done pieces of this song I’ve ever gotten to hear. You voice is pure, and I can tell you’re passionate about it. The way you sing this, you put your emotion into it, I think that’s what really makes this piece beautiful. Yeah, you have a gorgeous voice, but just the way you put your emotions into this piece, it’s what really brings it out. Thank you for covering this piece as well as all of your other FF pieces, they really are a work of true art

I am so envious of your voice! It's so nice and mature. I was often told to sing like a young lady not a little girl by my choir teacher who thought I wanted to sound younger for some reason even when singing songs like It's Raining Men....yeah..so love the voice! Final Fantasy 9 was never given the credit it deserves. It was the first Final Fantasy game I ever played and will always be my favorite. I've played through this game countless times and will play through countless more I'm sure. When I first got this game, it was near impossible to find an MP3 of this song, so I'd have to play to the end of the game to hear it, now I have the amazing rendition you have done on MP3. Thanks much for all the great music!

Coming here to listen to my favorite version of this song in celebration of the game hitting PS4. It's a shame what's happened to Kate since shew actively uploaded here but I still love everything she ever did. Much love to the angel who sang this wonderful rendition.

I've learned how to play this melody on my violin. Now when my brother comes over and hears me play the theme song and this song, he always thinks I'm giving him a sign to play this game. This is wonderful, thank you very much for making this video. Your voice is very lovely.

Out of all the arrangements of this song that I have heard, (12 I think) I have never found one that was greater than the original. This one surpasses it. I don't believe it! This actually brought tears to my eyes. That has only happened in 4 songs before.

I've been listing to this on repeat on my computer and my mp3 player, because my cat passed away on Monday or as the Black Mages in FFIX say "stopped moving" and it just makes me think of him. Your covers are amazing! I only listen them on my headphones, cause being a straight male, I'm kinda embarrassed to admit out loud but not embarrassed to listen to them, because most all my friends listen to the faster stuff which is good too, but would probably question me if one of your songs came on.
