MENS MENTAL HEALTH FOCUS. #mensmentalhealth
This channel will always have a focus on mens mental health, and some episodes will be unashamedly dedicated to just that - this is one of those episodes.
I am careful these days to take care of my mental health - it's a fragile thing! Weekends like this are so good for my soul, help get things in perspective and send me home feeling energised.
4 of us took to the welsh hills and valleys with 2 4x4's. It was an awesome time with good friends, which I appreciate so much. There were lots of chats, plenty of laughs and some amazing food, cooked in the wild over open fires, (some camp stoves too). Wales really is a beautiful place, and it's right on my doorstep.
THANKS WALES for being epic as well as being full of the friendliest people you could meet.

A great video. I think sometimes we have to release our inner child and just enjoy the simple things in life like hanging out with our mates doing the things we enjoy and have a laugh.

Great...watched this just before bed and my mind is racing with wanting to plan some get aways with the bike and boys 😆😁. Weekends away with some good friends always seems to be a good soul healer. Especially when it's in the great outdoors like your trip was. Don't do them near enough!

I love watching #bobmortimer on BBC’s Gone Fishing. To see him taking his old Land Rover into the hills was excellent. He’s one of my favourite comedians. Matt , can we see more with you and Bob please?

What a fantastic adventure guys. I so enjoyed watching it and only wishing I was there with you. Keep promoting men's well being because there's a lot of people dealing with horrible things, and it's lovely to know we're never alone.. lot's of love people ❤

Good morning Matt, what a great way to start my morning watching this with a brew. Winter gets me down (a lot) and with the state of this country, so this has helped me and gave me a boost to then look forward to spring when i can get out more plan adventures on the TBird. Good video, great fun😊 And good message according the mental health issues 👍 For me when I was in the start of my burnout I was so glad to have my dogs around me…. it’s probably something only dog owners will relate to but it helped me through the day. Another thing that always has helped me is music, playing guitar and drums just puts me in a better state of mind. So it’s very good for anyone to have hobbies or something like that to have… it helps. Keep them coming mate, I love it 😊👍

I used to go horse riding in Oregon, Before I put too much weight on. That's good for your mental health, Horse riding, not getting too fat.

The KZfaq algorithm magically suggested your channel to me. Really enjoying the videos, the Thunderbird 900 has always been a bike I’ve been interested in. The fact that you rode one with 30k on it to Turkey and back without issue really encourages me to consider it as an option! Love the Defenders in this one-we don’t see those as much here in the US. Such a cool machine!

Thanks mate. The T'bird is a tank of a machine, over engineered, typical for British bikes at the time really. I love it. The cool thing is I could have turned the bike around and done another 3000 miles back down to Turkey, the bike would of munched those miles without a problem.

Brilliant Video. reminds me when i was in the Territorial Army in Sunnybridge. although the food was not as good. Sunday was the first ride on the bike this year and it was definitely needed. removed a few cobwebs. I don't like winter it really gets me down and now we are heading for spring i have something to look forward too.

Great video. Did u hear about 'The Gentleman's Ride'? It takes place every year in May worldwide. It's an awareness ride for men's mental health and prostate cancer. Riders dress up or not, grow mustaches or not, collect donations, dress up and ride in May. Even this tiny island I live in, Malta, hosts this ride. From classics, modern retros to sports bikes. Loads of footage on KZfaq about it.

I did the Dragon Rally last weekend and had a fantastic time, but unfortunately today I lost my job. So to go from fun to fuck in a couple of day's is rubbish. So I'm now thinking a trip..Proper trip! Scotland first then on..............

@@thebristolthunderbird To be fair it's probably the best thing that could of happened, it's now prompted me to get of me arse and do the 500, which I've been wanting to do for years. Hopefully no midges this time of year! I'm 50 this year and I'm thinking it's going to be a good'en, start as you mean to go on. Think that is the goal really, being the best version of yourself. It does take some work though, and often needs others to help along the way. That is my experience anyway.

Mate, this is one of my face videos you've made, lovin the whole Wales trip with the camping out an stuff, takes me back a few years. Must have spent 1/4 of my time in the Paras in wales, too busy suffering to take in the stunning view most of the time. So glad your doing a pice on mens mental health, as you know ive developed some issues over the years and have been diagnosed with PTSD and have been depressed since i can remember myself....so hats off you u for bringing awareness to this topic. Funny story about yr panic attack, having said that the wingman is pretty small. Amazing drone footage btw over the stream and overlooking open land with that house in the middle of nowhere !!! i think i need one of those trips with you. Great stuff Matt, your on ya way to be a youtube super star xxx speak soon
