Hi,when your not in a hurry an alternative route I take from Brizzle is; Chepstow old Bridge and head towards the racecourse. The B4235 at the Spar to Usk ( nice road) Take a right in Usk high street on the B4598 (Abergavenny Rd) At the Green Chain Bridge,go over and take the small road ( Chain Bridge Rd) and just keep going straight until the A4042.Turn left and the caff's a few metre up.Safe riding Richard (Brizzle Honda 500 cbx ) PS sometimes there is a police speed van on the B4598 as you head out of Usk l/h side where there are open fields and before the 50

Great video! They also had the Thunderbird Sport, which was a performance version of the Thunderbird. As far as I can tell, it is the only model of that platform that had significant differences to the others. Dual front discs, improved suspension, more power, 3-into-2 exhaust with stacked mufflers, and apparently a higher seat height.The difference in the others seems to be the amount of chrome and type of handlebars, and shape of the seat. The Thunderbird Sport is still one of the best looking bikes Triumph has made since their relaunch in the 90s, in my opinion!

I know what you mean about cruisers, I'm finding myself looking at them more and more, is it a middle aged thing maybe? But I can't bring myself to go to Harley, they're just too crude, too lumpy. I know for some that's part of the appeal, but they're not for me. What I do find myself looking more and more at is the Triumph Speedmaster, now that's a bike I could ride all day. It's too new for you, with its EFI but what about the Triumph Bonneville America? Cruiser styling with Triumph finesse. I can see you on one. Oh and cheese and motorcycles, I like it, I feel it could be a thing, a bike tour of famous cheeses. Britain alone has over 700 named cheeses according to Wikipedia, which could give you plenty of short trips.

Hallo mate, here’s my list of changes which have really helped me. 1. Binned the standard mat and bag and replaced with better bag (lighter too) and inflatable sleeping mat (much more comfortable, better insulation and makes for a much smaller pack size) With my little Flextail pump it takes seconds. 2. I carry some lightweight poles and guy ropes for the canopy (easily fit in the pole section). Never been a fan of tying it the bike. What’s the point of camping somewhere with amazing views if you can’t see past your engine ? Also makes access much easier. I find the built in groundsheet on the tent perfectly adequate for most types of ground so I tend to use the cover/groundsheet in front rather than under the tent. In conjunction with the extra poles I carry this gives you a great area for sitting, cooking and storing gear. A great tent all in all, enjoy 👍🏻
@thebristolthunderbird14 күн бұрын
That sounds like some good upgrades. Do you leave the sleeping bag and blow up mattress in the tent, rolled up with it when travelling or have them separate? I do find the mattress a little too thin at times so a blow up one sounds like a good idea.
