I actually believe the defendant for the most part. The plaintiff is clearly the aggressor/instigator, add in the fact JM caught him lying about the racist comment he made to the female aid and that he admitted he has issues with other neighbors too.. He CLEARLY has a few screws loose, definitely paranoid, and obviously is enjoying his part in feeding fuel to the fire to keep the feud going! This shows from him recording the defendant, hoping to either catch him doing something or just paranoid he's going to do something and those deranged poems he wrote after EVERY time he had contact with the defendant, saying it's "his turn to destroy", it's to the point of obsession! Also, refusing to go to mediation with the defendant, WITH police there, just further proves he wants to keep it going and also why I mostly believe the defendant that he's not harassing the plaintiff, especially because he is the one who requested mediation to try and put an end to it! That being said, I don't think the defendant is 100% innocent either, I definitely don't think he did most of what the plaintiff said, certainly not harassment, but I do think he might have been pushed over the edge a time or two and reacted out of frustration and being fed up with this mans bullshit!

Judge Milian is right, this could end up being a story on "Fear thy neighbor".

This is a bizarre case. There's something that both parties involved are not willing to admit as to why they are at war with each other. Like the Judge said the police are going to get fed up with constantly dealing with them. When one more call gets put out there to deal with these parties then both parties will get arrested because they are wasting police resources for childish situations that are not willing to be resolved.

I knew this case was gonna be a mess just by seeing the defendants with thier heads down...rather she believes it or not people do give you the finger for no reason and don't like you when you don't even know each other

Life is way too short for all this madness. These two can't even indicate what started the beef in the first place. C'mon guy's life is very precious with no guarantees, so take that into account first and foremost. Doesn't take long for things to go sideways no matter where you are these days.
