Just being a lone tech like us you dont have a wealth of information around you from other techs who might know of an obscure TSB fix and find out after posting a video that there was a cheaper way. not that that has ever happened to me...hehehe

Yep. sometimes I feel like a real tightwad when we are out shopping and using my scanner comparing prices but we save so much money by just spending a little extra time doing research. For instance Toys R Us. They have a price matching policy. We saved almost $20 on just a $35 purchase the other day. The guy behind us had two shopping carts full of stuff I know I could have saved him $300 by taking 15 mins or so to check online. Granted we are in Alaska and things just cost more here with all the shipping but might as well take advantage of a policy if they have one. Saving customers money is also a good feeling. I would rather take the money i saved and invest in solar lighting for the outhouse myself! God bless you friend!!

got me confused Dude, why use any grease at all? seen lot of problems with grease.

it prevents corrosion, you should use *electrical* grease on all terminal contacts that might get exposed to water, salt, etc.

OK cool, i wasn't 100% sure but visual inspection was dead on for fit and quality. Ended up super nice. I hope i get another in for just the socket replace (update) and show how that works. Thanks for dropping by the shop!
