Hey guys. Here I am installing Camber bolts on my Mercedes W210. This works on lots of other Benzes.

I see how that bolt works now. I don't remember seeing those fingures when I changed the control arms, so I will see when I go to put it on. When I ordered the bolts, the listing showed a set of two bolts. So I ordered two set. They sent me two bolts. Only the camber needs adjusted on the right, and the caster on the left. So I'll just change those ones. But I don't think the bolt will give enough adjustment on the caster one. The bolt listing said 0.3 degree adjustment, which is perfect for the camber. The caster one is off more. 😞 I think I don't need the anti-seaze here in California. Since I don't have any, I don't think I need it. I'm thinking I can just put them on and let the alignment guy figure out which side the washer needs to align on. He's only maybe a mile away. Hmmm, mine doesn't have those teeth for the adjustment. So, I guess mine won't adjust, because the bolt holes are just round, just big enough for the bolt to go through it.

Thanks for the video, very detailed about the position of the notches in the washer and the m effect in the camber. Thinking of doing this on mu SLK as has camber a bit out of spec -1.8 °

What is the advantage to doing this over the camber kits that attach on the bolts above the wheel hub?

Hi , thanks for your Video . I have a CLK 430 , it had problem with the knuckle every 5 months the wheel bearing would go bad , I changed the knucle , the alignment is off , I replaced the tie rod it was worn , what do you think causes the negative camber is -1.57...running stock spring & shocks.

Thank you very much your video is very helpful. On my Mercedes clk 55, I replaced the flex disc on the transmission and rear differential. And I also replaced the center drive shaft support and transmission mount. Now at 50 mph the car vibrates badly not sure what I did or didn't do.

When you replaced the center support, did you align both halves of the driveshaft? Before removing the driveshaft, you need to mark both halves. Otherwise it will create a vibration. In that case you will need to get a used driveshaft or take this one off and bring it to the driveshaft shop so they can balance it. I have a video when I was doing my flex discs and center support on my W210, you can find it in "MERCEDES W210" playlist (the video I filmed is in Russian though). If the driveshaft was aligned right, make sure your wheels are balanced right and are not bent, make sure the center support bolts are tight and flex discs are tight. Let me know

With this you managed to move the wheel a few centimeters (forward or backward)? How many did you reach? Thanks for the video.

It isn't move back or forward, it move up & down for adjusting camber purpose. Move back or forward use caster adjustment.

I own a clk 55 amg w208 my front tires are wearing on the outer edges, had it wheel aligned twice in the pass 2 years luckily I have a lifetime alignment @ Firestone but somehow their not getting it right. Anyway gone through two sets of tires so I'm going to replace the front camber bolts myself and get it aligned once more. I also placed a level and the camber is not level. NOT SURE HOW MUCH ADJUSTMENT I WILL GET FROM NEW BOLTS.

These bolts don't give you much adjustment, like 0.3 degrees one way or the other. Make sure all the suspension parts are tight and nothing is bent. Bring it to the alignment shop so the machine can show all the angles of the car and which ones are out of spec. Your toe may also be off.

I put lowering links on my Airmatic W211. Major wear on the inside of tires. What can I do to get enough adjustment for more positive camber?

In the rear- use adjustable custom camber arms. In the front- I haven't been able to figure it out besides using different camber bolts for the lower control arms, but that doesn't give enough adjustment to get rid of the tire wear completely

My w164 has a very severe negative camber on both front wheels... Wheel bearings and whisbone rubbers are all good. The car is lowered only front. What could be causing this major negative camber? (I am going to lower the rear coils tomorrow...) Thanks

How much is it lowered? When you lower the car, it’ll cause negative camber. They sell camber bolts that can help with some camber. But I recommend for you to install factory coil springs to restore the height and to get rid of a negative camber wear

@@VITOSGARAGEokay thanks. I think 5 cm in front, I bought it like this. So i bought 4 Brabus coils front and rear, replacing them soon, also the front ones. Maybe that will fix it. I will try to use the camber bolts, thanks!

blake biltwell They are ripping you off man. Bring it to a Mercedes dealer, a lot of places don't know how to work on cars;) Camber bolts won't fix your pull. The dealer will align your car so it won't pull anymore.

For front camber adjustment do you need 2 bolts for each side? Is this a e320 Merc 2004 to 2007

Yes. So you need 4 bolts in total. It's a 2000 E320 W210

I am no sure. I don't think it will work on that van. I just know it'll work for W210s, W202s, W203s, possibly W124s

You dont have to replace the bolt. this is totally wrong! this is an adjustable cam joint. Also, you are not explaining the what camber is and what your fixing

The camber kit comes with the bolt. It's a special bolt! You must replace it, lol. I think that people who clicked on the video already knew what a camber is.Please check out my other videos. I post new car videos every week. Cheers :)

wrong this NOT an adjustable upper arm, only with an adjustable replacement bolt giving an extra 1.5 positive camber adj.
