That's a lie. I know that might sound right. In my experience life sucks two ways: The first is when you're in a bind and you look around for help but no one comes around. The second is when you're in a bind and you try to deal with it all alone because you don't feel you can rely on someone. You never wanna learn the hard way that "life sucks, if you're going through it alone." I don't think there's a man on the planet who hates the idea of having to rely on others, more than me but that's just tough/life. Just gotta keep pushing, holding on with people and having faith in your fellow human beings.

I’ve learnt this for 14yrs of my existence PARENTS ONLY LOVE YOU IF YOU DO WHAT THEY WANT...other way then?? they treat you like the worst fool.... they’re not family... I always wished for great friends.... hopefully that comes one day. My stuffed animals and teddies are my family and I love them a lot...🥺💔

Where were you when your father told you 'boys don't cry', don't you know? To all men or boys: Please don't be in a stereotype that you must not feel pain, that you are not allowed to cry. All of you are human too and you got those feelings. Crying doesn't mean that you are weak it's actuall pretty normal to release pain in that way, so if you can't contain the pain anymore, just cry, remember you are human too.

This song is something else... to anyone who reads this, this song has helped me through my very hard breakup... 1 year with a girl who I tried to marry disappeared from my life after 1 year of constantly breaking up and getting back together, watching her move on truly broke my heart and left me in a very dark place with very dark thoughts up till this day. Reminds me of a good friend who is always there for me. But everytime I ask, he always says he's fine and to not worry about him; saying I already have a lot of my problems to deal with and he doesn't want to add to them.

Mind if I rant about my feelings? Every day starts with asking myself if I should even try to carry on. Then I go on and force myself to do schoolwork and not say anything about my emotions or show anything. The darkness drowns out all my emotions and all I can feel is pain. Then I get some false hope and then it’s washed away. It breaks me down even worse each time and I know in my heart that I won’t have enough strength to go on any longer and give up eventually. They ask how I’m doing so I always say “I’m doing great!” But deep down I’m begging for help. I just want someone to help me out of this but no one notices. Then every will blame their pain on me and my parents will yell at me. After all that I just cry alone in my room and cry myself to sleep every night. I always eat alone so they won’t hurt me more. I try to protect myself but I’m not strong enough. I suffer in silence and hurt myself to hide it. I’ve had to get creative to hurt myself so no one would notice a bruise or cut. I bite down on my tongue as hard as I can which will hurt me and remind me to use a fake smile. It’s the same routine every day and I’m getting worn out. I really want to give up but I keep pushing which hurts me even more than it would if I gave up.

Depression sucks :( It took me like 6 or 7 years before I finally got up the guts to mention to my mom that I was kinda suicidal at one point as a teen, and even now I'm not as open about how I'm doing as I probably should be... I will tell you though, that I'm glad I'm still here, and for what it's worth, I'm glad you're here too :) When I was younger I had to read Romeo and Juliet and it made me decide never to kill myself and instead to always wait and see if things get better, and so far they always have, eventually. Anyway I'd encourage you to talk to your parents if they aren't emotionally abusive or anything like that. (If they are, talk to a school counselor, teacher, friend, etc. instead.) One thing I did learn from talking more with my mom recently is that adults' lives aren't always as perfect as they look. I think when we're young we tend to think that if our parents or whoever look like they've got it all together than they do because they're adults and adults know everything. But then when you become an adult yourself you realize that they don't. And adults were young once too so they may have gone through the same things at your age. I myself dont even know what my problems are, but I feel like I have one. Like, I feel empty or something. Outside im always cracking jokes and smiles, and it genuinely scares me how good I am at hiding it. If I didn't have a family, im sure I wouldn't be here right now. I actually tried it a couple years ago, but I couldn't do it to my family. Now ive come to the point where ive sworn I won't cry, because you have to act strong for everyone. But I feel like im going to break soon. Sorry for bothering you with my worthless story, but I had to get it out.

This is exactly why I encourage my Mr 12 to talk to me about EVERYTHING. I grew up in a generation of parents that never spoke about mental illness. It wasn't until my complete psychotic breakdown in 2000 that I knew it was in my genetics. No one should ever feel like they are crazy and the only one who felt such anguish Great song 💙💙💙💙

I’m not even a guy and this is how I grew up. I wasn’t taught how to feel or how to cope with my emotions and now I’m a junior in high school typing this is algebra two with cuts all up and down my arms and they really hurt. I have had to deal with everything alone for years and I’m done. I’m going to be happy, and I promise to anyone reading this, this is coming from someone with ocd, anxiety, add, and depression. Things get better when you realize that you are worth it and that YOU don’t deserve this, you don’t deserve to be sad or to be hurting physically and mentally. You deserve better and I promise you better is coming. It just can’t run as fast as your problems but it will never stop trying and it will reach you, I promise. There is so much I wanna say but the bells gonna ring soon so I cannot say everything. Just know that better is coming I promise. Much love- Al. But seriously though, I am praying for you all.

My friend has suffered from depression for years. Last week she tried to end her life. Luckily, the ambulance reached her in time and they could save her, but it was a big wake-up call. I had just reached my one-month mark of being clean from cutting, and when this happened I reverted back to it. This music definitely helps me express how I’m feeling. Thank you so much ❤️

I didnt know how much i need help until i listened to this song. i got shivered running up and down my whole body and tears started forming. and i listened to it a few time to make sure i wasnt going crazy, then i sang along and it just got deeper and deeper. its really hard for me to ask for help. but i need it.
