Checked Wikipedia. Twilight was filmed in the first part of 2008. Sharkboy and Lavagirl was filmed in late 2004. So there probably were about 3.5 years between when he filmed as Sharkboy (age 12, approaching 13) and Jacob (age 16). That kinda makes sense. Boys can grow and change fast around that time. A year later, when he'd just turned 17 (if I have my math right), they filmed New Moon (and he had to seriously bulk up for that). And yeah, that's where I agree with dan's reply to this comment. Getting that body as a kid... and then being sexualized... while still technically a kid. Doesn't feel too great to think about. Hope it didn't mess with his head or overall health. I'm not a Taylor Lautner stan, so I don't know if he's said anything about it. I know this comment is old, but I figured I may save someone else a trip to Wikipedia.

in the books, vampires don't feel the need to sit somewhere comfortable, to change positions. they could literally just stand up all day, not moving. they just don't do that because humans would be weirded out (ofc this is only relevant to clans who do interact with humans, like the cullens)

@@duckinaswing he imprints on her meaning that hes like a protector, friend or a lover. it is implied through alice's visions that they will become romantic in the future. so far every case of imprimation on babies seem to be going towards a romantic route (see also quil and the baby he imprinted on) and considering smeyer wanted jacob out of the way bc bedward its obvious that shes leading them down that path. even if he didnt fell in love with her as a baby he knew her as a baby/child and developed romantic feelings for her later on which is incredibly fcked up

While it might be a little heavy handed, I appreciate the blue tones and the general aesthetic for this movie. There were some real stylistic choices in the first film, with an attempt at a consistent cinematographic theme which was lost in later movies in the franchise.
