Seeing that Reptile can phase between lizard and human form during the fight makes me have hope that they'll have beast boy for I3 phasing between different animals during the fight bc I didn't think it was logical for beast boy to change into different animals during the fight

Agreed. Havik's animations are surprising good. But Reptile's is a no brainer. It's something that should be expected especially by now.

@@thegoodstuff3148 i havent even seen the4thSnake video on him but if you do watch him you know most characters in the series only have *potential* in the end of the day that is never realised Also i grew up with the 3d era as well i have never see anyone during that time that hated him other then the people who hated everyone of the 3d era with just doesnt seen to be a thing anymore The discourse of the 3d era characters is generally favorable when people are talking about havik he us usually considered one of the good ones and hes pretty much a fan favorite who has been requested to appear ever since mk X

one detail i really like that i just noticed is that his little sash is also his tail, its a really neat little detail.

He's always been a shape shifter, that's not new to his lore. He is part of a reptilian race that can shape shift to look human, but the longer he stays away from his race the more feral he became and slowly loses the capability to shift. They just now finally decided to put it in story for once instead of just reducing him to jobber.

He also twists his torso 360 degrees in one of the combos too.

And also at 3:34 its hard to see so watch in slow motion the kick he does before he rips his arm. His leg splits in 2 and connects back and at 3:44 his body just contorts as he moves away.

Yeah I had watch the trailer multiple times to catch all the crazy shit Havik does. Like snapping his neck open to hurl a giant blood ball. Or stabbing Ashrah with the bones in his forearms for his Fatal Blow (because I thought those were spiked gauntlets at first, but no his arms are cut off and he uses the exposed bones to stab Ashrah).

I do hope for Nitara still. She deserves another chance! Also I love vampires so y'know.. Bias.

MK11 was a letdown in this aspect

You’re “half” right. Reptile can completely shapeshift his body into his lizard monster form he just seems to have pretty good control of the shapeshifting aspect like the half transformation but for a split second you could see him being able to manifest only the tail.

Personally I don’t like the idea of the Tarkatans being diseased as apposed to being a race but that’s just me. As for Reptile, the first MK I played was Shaolin Monks and he was my favourite in that and that is my favourite design but I love this one too and it’s great he actually has some character now instead of just being a jobber

Yeah that was wild. Was just watching the movie last night with my kids then saw this trailer and was like HOLY CRAP they used it!

Its also smartly done story wise. He IS a big freaky lizard, hes also just a freak among freaky lizards because he can turn into a human twink

@@MrMrTravman this was explained in deadly alliance and even have concept arts of reptile evolving from mk2 reptile being human then around mk4 he starts to look like a lizard
