Purseglove has brainwashed himself on repeatedly branding refugees who cross the channel in cockle shell boats as illegal criminals-this is not true factually. Patel is also highly inaccurate when she repeatedly brands refugees who cross the channel in cockleshell boats as wicked, illegal asylum seekers. This is inaccurate and patently untrue and a contradiction in terms. Patel and Johnson seek to forcibly dump innocent refugees crossing the channel in cockleshells boats, as human cargo, like slaves in a 4th world, greedy, Xenophobic, homophobic and genocidal- prone Rwanda, who is only interested in making a business profit out of Britain and her vulnerability.

With all the woke politics and policies of the West, It's inevirable that Africans and middle eastern will find their way into UK, EU, and US, etc., regardless of how many pathetic barriers are put up. It's so much easier to move into an established and 'hard-earned' economy than it is to build one up that is constantly being sabotaged by despotic and corrupt politions. But Africans won't vote sensibly when it comes to elections, they'll sooner be 'ruled' by a black government than to be 'governed' by sensible and democratic leaders.

If we actually cared about stopping these people paying smugglers to take these awful risks then we should set up asylum posts in calais where people can go, claim asylum, and get safe transport to the UK. We accept a fraction of the refugees of every other large EU economy as it is. We should do the honourable thing and take our share, and be proud to do so. It is a great British tradition to offer refuge for those in desperate need, and throughout our long history they have always added to our rich culture and economic strength. But these days it seems we are turning into a small, poor, and mean little island. So obsest with our own petty prejudices that we make ourselves poorer and weaker to spite those willing to offer us their energy and passion in return for nothing more than safty.

We should allow lots of immigrants in (bigger population bigger GDP) but we should be pragmatic from where we get them from. As much as we all love Indian immigrants we want productive Indians making India powerful. We should take in young immigrants from China in order to exasperate it's aging population issue.

Pre-agreed phrases lazily put together. No real substance in the answers given to the questions being asked. I’d the government really wanted to positively affect or break of channel crossing they would do something meaningful at the point crossing or before that. Not after these people have reached our shores. Shipping them off to another country is definitely curtailing our responsibility.

How does moving asylum seekers to Rwanda for processing help stop people coming over in boats? Obviously the British government is unable to stop them coming over on boats because they would have already done so irrespective of where they process them. "Arrived through illegal means" - real weasel words here. There are few "legal" ways of asylum seekers to get to the UK even though the majority are deemed to be legitimate asylum seekers after the process has been completed.
@ADZ01982
@ADZ01982 2 жыл бұрын
Because these migrants somehow manage to get thousands of pounds together to pay traffickers to get to Europe. If they know they are getting returned than they will not pay the money to do so. Hence hopefully a reduction in illegal boat crossings.
