How I feel terribly sorry for the whole police force! We lost a policeman and here in New York a month and a half ago about 20 blocks from where I live. The stupid robbers were going to hold up one of those T-Mobile stores completely unaware the fact that these stores don't have any cash so they shot the policeman because he was coming over. They was standing at a bus stop and a fella was in the backseat and because of the angle he was at the bullet went under the poor policeman's vest and he left a widow and three young children. Terrible

When I remember my suburban upbringing, kids with guns break my heart. I remember Che, my high school classmate. He used to talk about building pipe bombs while we rode the 50 to high school together. One year after I graduated, he was arrested at school with a gun.

Some of us are still trying to understand those two cases from over a year ago - where Minnesota police officers broke into the home of a young black male with no record, and shot him to death while he slept, and then, only two weeks later, more police from the same city broke into *another* young black male's apartment and shot him to death as he slept on his sofa - almost two identical cases from the same police in less than three weeks. So yeah, I get the mystery feeling you're feeling.

They are really pushing this tragedy crap. 1st off we dont know what happened yet. 2nd if what "we do know" is true then it appears the officer made a mistake a FATAL mistake. He misread a situation. There are 20 other dead end jobs where people face death from simply misreading a situation. Trashman is one, commercial plumbers, cooks and cops alike need to be aware. There are many professions as well where this is true. Attack on police officers is bad and wrong. just cause a person is shot dosent mean they were "attacked" or like police say "ambushed".. the idea that he was tragically ambushed in the middle of the street is silly.
