MOD Dwarf and AIDA JCVM: what a nice solution! (CPU Load, Latency, etc)

In this video, we will check out the new AIDA-X A.I. trained amp simulation plugins, that can be loaded in the MOD Dwarf! Now we are hearing the AIDA-X JCVM plugin in action with a demo song, then we will describe the signal chain I have used in the demo song, also sharing the main features and characteristics of the plugins, verifying the CPU load, the plugin quality and the Latency. Finally I will give you My Two Cents. I hope you enjoy!!!

Great playing mate!. I am hoping you can get a hold of the new Boss GM-800 Guitar Synth and the Boss GK-5 Divided Pickup. I am keen to see someone really test it out, rather than the current infomercials other KZfaqrs are making. 🤘

Hi, yes it would be interesting and I have also tried...the problem is that I'm not able to create the proper environment in my PC in order to train AIDA models....therefore It would be a pretty unfair comparison with NAM, where I have everything in my computer to train amp models....I'm sorry, but until I will not be able to make a "perfect" comparison...I prefer to skip... Thank you!

How does it compare to build in free JCM model in AIDA? Im thinking if i really need to buy it. I don't really care about having 100% perfect captured knobs, so mainly talking about sound. Using the plugin on the dwarf. Love the thing for clean tones, drives im still figuring out, but i love the tubedriver, tube screamer (i found it well for my personal taste), horizon drive, and sd1(but noiiisy). Try the horizon drive, i think it is under the beta plugins and tell me what u think. But i agree, they should focus more on sorting distortion pedals out. Why 5 usable distortion and like 20 fuzz pedals? 😂 But still, i love the thing!!! Just building pedalboards of my fav artists (knopfler, frusciante, borysewicz, gilmour) inspires me so much, to play more.

I like the whole format of the mod dwarf. Ir would be great if they made one a bit bigger, with more footswitches and more cpu power. I guess a touch screen wouldn't make much difference, it would be hard to put their rig edit style (which is great) into a little screen.

Hi, yes, and I asked them to send me a unit to try a couple of months ago...but they ask me to pay the full price with just a little discount...this basically means that they do not want a review from us...I don't know why...maybe the latency is too high...or in comparison with AIDA X it sounds bad...these are just suppositions... Thank you for your suggestion!

Hi, yes it can. As I said towards the end of the video, I need to test it deeply… I think it needs profile with cpu friendly neural network… mine didn’t work. furthermore, as far as I understood the plug-in for the Dwarf is still in Beta

These people are absolute scammers! I ordered and paid for my unit as a backer on kickstarter years ago! Paid for mine before this video was even released! They refuse to send me my pedal unless I pay a good bit more money!! They are holding it hostage! This is how they take care of the people that made the build of this unit possible! The people that helped make it possible for this demonstration video to be made. It makes me sick that I will never get my money back, or at least get the pedal I purchased. I feel extremely taken advantage of by this company.

@@_DRMR_ actually I put money into the production of this pedal, with the promise that when they are produced I will receive the package I paid for. I understood that there was the chance that they wouldn’t be able to finish building the units, but when they are still producing units and holding back from helping the people who paid to get them off the ground, it’s a horrible way to do business.
