That's a hilarious oversight. Good catch Sven, and quite wrong of us. I'm glad it didn't affect much in the end. We'll just have to have a rematch now! lol From a rules point of view, it's quite funny that Smaug doesn't have Monstrous Charge. Cave Drakes and other monsters much smaller than Smaug all have it. Smaug certainly doesn't need any more help, but of all the characters to not have Monstrous Charge, it would make sense for him to have it. Must be because Smaug just doesn't need the help. Thanks for keeping us honest Sven!

Ok, so we went back to review what we said in the video, and confirmed that we did indeed give Smaug an extra die on the charge when we should not have, but the Unstoppable momentum rule still gives him the knock down. Also @ 17:55 we did indeed mess up the roll required to-wound Sauron, but it really didn't matter as he passed his ring save anyway. Careful though, the Set Ablaze special rule has nothing to do with the strength of either model: it causes a strength 9 hit on impact and a strength 5 hit at the end of each turn (during the End Phase): the strength 5 hit would need a 6 to wound Smaug or a 6/4+ to wound Sauron: most of the set ablaze rolls in this video were to wound Smaug, not Sauron. Hi bit of a late reply but the answer is that he doesn't come back after dying. He just stays alive because of the ring just like of he past a fate roll

I saw those dice for sale on the GBHL facebook page years ago and grabbed them while I could. I don't remember who I got them from, and haven't ever seen them since. I do custom dice orders a couple times per year through our facebook group at facebook.com/cuincalad with a bunch of custom designs like this.

This might be more of an answer than you're looking for, but hey, it's an interesting question! So here goes :-) First, let me say that by "silly" I do not mean "stupid" or "foolish" as some people might: I simply mean that it is funny, in an innocent or even naive sort of way, just as most children's cartoons are silly. The updates to the Balrog profile were really very clever. Smaug is twice the point cost of the Balrog, and yet is far more vulnerable. One little poke from the King of the Dead. Or any other thing that can instantly kill. The fact that the Balrog is immune to fire really demonstrates that some models should be. Personally, I think the only reason Smaug isn't immune to fire is that he's already such a strong model (he can easily handle most armies in most scenarios, and although he can definitely be beat in every scenario, he is a genuine one-model-army!) that it makes sense, even if just to balance the game, that he should also have some weaknesses. But still, the way the "set ablaze" rule works, it is just silly to think of a massive drake like Smaug being set ablaze by a hobbit with a torch, or by a much smaller dragon breathing fire, or even by a Balrog. Surely Smaug's fire is worse than all that (at least in the game context). I enjoy the fact that there are some quirks in this game :-) It makes for fun conversation
