I usually skip 5 minutes into most specials. This guy hands down has the best intro I have seen. The joke was funny and he didn't ask for applause or talk about some shit we don't care about.. bravo mate. Did I use that right ? 😂

All the way from Montreal. Raised French i have to admit that in my youth we did Hip Hip Hourra !! after signing Bonne Fête. Great special laugh my ass off. Keep them comming

USA here never heard it at a birthday but we do it for something else cannot remember what. I think sports ?? Not like I haven't heard hip hurray before. Might be it's a child's activity here in like music or TV lessons for kids. Funny stuff! On a side note you know 👍🏿 thumbs up is not universal some places it's an insult instead of appreciation.

Back in the day we started the hip pips after freeze a jolly good fellow, we all said so, then hip pips then why was he born. Sometimes a Quick Look like a monkey and smell like one too….like a gangster handshake.
