Nice! Very clearly explained. Touching on the visible light and how colours work with our eyes is interesting. Colour blindness too. Will show this to the kids and get their opinions

Yes bro, that'd be very interesting to hear what they say. I'll show my boys too and see what the say. My eldest already knows about the different colours in the visible spectrum and also is familiar with ultraviolet and infrared as terms.

@@elywananda 🙏🏿 Diop laid a good foundation in terms of looking at energy as a key consideration in developing a federation. Nkrumah overstood this is terms of how he tried to industrialise... Theres alot in the history. I guess for some understandable reasons, it doesn't dominate the discourse...

@gardeniainbloom812 Ha! Those topic are very much on my mind. I've just now started learning about deuterium (and quantum biology in general). Earthing is a staple in my day to day life now, having studied it for the last few weeks. I'll definitely do a video on that topic in the near future. Deuterium will take me a little longer. I wish I had more of a basic understanding of physics and chemistry, but better late than never!

Dumb question, would painting more things green help with the climate any? If green reflects more UV I wonder how that impacts the global climate as we cut more down and turn giant swaths of land into pavement and concrete

I guess it's possible that a type of paint could be developed that can maybe reflect the kinds of light that would be helpful for the environment. But I don't think we need such complicated things. We just need to stop destroying the living environment and let Mother Nature heal us.

interesting there's a western part of South "America" that is the darkest on the map so gets the most sunlight on the planet.

Don't be silly; if it isn't visible, it isn't 'light' - is it? Do ultraviolet lamps emit violet light? No. What about infrared ones? Not all electromagnetic radiation is visible to the human eye. In fact, most of it is not. What colour does your local radio station emit? If it is FM, does it shimmer?

Light is electromagnetic radiation regardless of whether it can be seen by humans.

@@elywananda Go (back?) to school. You have your sets and subsets mixed up. All light is electromagnetic radiation, but not all er is light. All Innuits are Eskimos, but not vice versa. All Scottish residents live in the UK, but not all UK residents live in Scotland. Etc.
