While there are several methods of removing and installing the bearings from your 66/80cc motor, the objective of this video tutorial is to utilize the method that uses the right tool for the job. Alternatively, you can use a c-clamp to remove the bearings, but that's about as far as it goes. Trying to use a c-clamp to install bearing would be somewhat of a challenge as the Screw Swivel moves on a pivot and would make it so the bearing would go in at an odd angle.
You can also hammer out the bearings using a socket, though in doing so , you greatly increase risk of damage to the bearing race (if you intend to use them again) as well as the crankcase motor.
You can also use an arbor press which requires the least amount of time and effort. The downside is the added cost associated with purchasing an arbor press.
Lastly, you can heat the crankcase to approximately 250° in the oven or using a propane gas torch (not mapp gas) or heat gun. Thought there is some risk of distortion. Most likely it will be fine. Just make sure you have a infared thermometer on hand to monitor the temp.
