House and House 2 are classics, but House IV has a special place in my heart. My sister and I have been singing that 'pizza man' song since we were little kids.

The scary stuff was to drive them out of the house because they were in danger there. The daughter/bed stab was a metaphor for her putting her daughter in danger by staying there. Or not. There was probably a lot of cocaine involved.

That pizza scene is amazing and is worth watching the film just for that.

Here's my theory to link all those movies together. They are all parallel timeline. All the undead villains at some point in their lives got their hands on the crystal skulls from their timeline. Jinkies used his skulls to travel in time, that's how he evaded police for so long. Roger Cobb in here is the Roger that never went to 'Nam. the Roger who never lost his father.

Oh my god! I saw that movie many years ago, at least partially, and the only thing I could remember was that really disgusting phlegm scene. Thinking about it made me nauseous even years after seeing it. And now I know the movie's name, so I can actively avoid it from now on. What's weird though is that I already had the feeling that this was the film with that scene only a few minutes in.

I find it odd you guys didn't mention his name being Willian Katt.

Maybe she thought she could fix up the place and sell it for more than the guy offered. A lot of scenes of her going around and inspecting things and trying to maybe fix stuff.

Okay, the healing spring water is all glowing and green. They sure they didn't already put 'non-toxic' waste in there already? Maybe they did and it mutated the daughter rather than just fixing her. :)

You think Hollywood can't get any more insulting, display any greater contempt for its audience, and then something like this comes along that says, "Sure we can!" Part of the reason the movie is so disjointed may be that four people worked on the story, one of whom was Jim Wynorski, who has done far better work (Chopping Mall, Deathstalker 2), but has also directed erotic parodies (The Bare Wench Project, The Witches of Breastwick). Also, House IV was shot in 1990 but wasn't released until 1992, showing how little faith anyone involved had in it.

Funny he should mention buying that wheelchair at a yard sale because "Friday the 13th: The Series" actually had a wheelchair like that the character gets at a yard sale (in directly through Curious Goods). Hummmm.....

I don't understand the Captain Planet cartoon storyline of "going back in time to use the Grand Canyon as a toxic waste dump." It's like... the Grand Canyon is still there... right now... you could just go there and dump stuff. Why would time travel need to be involved? 🤨

Wait, Captain Planet stole a plot line from Time Trax? I think it was the first or second Time Trax where the recurring villain was going to get rich by sending nuclear waste into the future (which is really a better idea than sending it into the past, since it is still around if you do that) I know, way off point, just shocked at two separate shows thinking "pollution via time travel" makes for a compelling plot.

There is something terribly wrong here. I will never forgive this film. It is a entertainment crime to have a horror movie where the only two horrorific scenes are a singing discount Pizza-the-Hutt and a phlem-infested discount Lynchian baddie who force-feeds bile to a low-cost, less adequate Billie Jean love interest and part time Full Moon henchman.
