This is the seventh video in the "The Last Jedi Videos" series that I've been working on. In the first five videos, we focused more on the logical issues arising in the critiques made by various figures about various elements of the film. In the sixth video, we discussed the concepts of bad faith and grifting, which has naturally lead to this video about the concept of "wokespotting." As always, the issue is not the TLJ is a good film or a bad film, but rather that given the poor quality of many arguments about it, the success of those arguments is conspicuous. What can we take away from all of this when considering this phenomenon broadly? That’s what we’re focused on here as we discuss the channel “Mr. Reagan” and its contributions to TLJ discourse.
