In S1 E1 the very first case, there was a little old lady who was being sued by neighbours because she played loud noises at night in protest of the injustice of a different neighbour hoping that the other neighbours would ban together to get him out. She kept quoting Martin Luther King Jr. to say why the black plaintiffs were wrong to sue her. She offered to pay for the plaintiffs to get a white noise machine. She lost, but didn’t comply with the order. In a later episode she’s back and Judge Judy has a little chat with her, and she talks about how she feels the 2nd amendment should be repealed and all wars should be abolished.

I have been looking for the case where a guy created a formal, written 'personal development' review of his girlfriend, rating her 'performance' as his fiancee and highlighting areas for improvement. For real. It is one of those wonderful moments where JJ cracks up.

I loved the one where a guy claimed his dog had been stolen, and when she made the woman that claimed the dog was hers, put the dog on the floor, it ran to the guy, jumping on him so excited to see his daddy. JJ was like, case closed, it's obviously his dog. :))

The "Loserds" one always gets my attention. When all the evidence came out, that teenager and her posse went over to harass the boys, then played the victim card. Judy finally pushed the right button, got that ridiculous answer, and everybody in the courtroom knew the case was over. If I had been her father, I'd have found the nearest hole to crawl into.

I deffo think the 'iphone' case should be on here. Lady totally scammed a mother and daughter by sending her a PHOTO of 2 iphones and claiming that's what she paid for, not actual phones. I was fuming watching the woman smirk and insist she's in the right.

The cherry on top of that deer case is that "rigor mortis" is simply the muscle rigidity that follows death, so if the deer was dead, whatever the defendant thinks, it did indeed have rigor mortis

There's the one from a few days ago on the official Judge Judy channel where a bride sued her wedding DJ for a bunch of petty nonsense. Stuff like certain songs not playing "on script" or technical difficulties resulting in a whole 20 seconds of "awkward silence". She was just being an insane bridezilla when her wedding wasn't 100% perfect. After the case, Judge Judy said to the husband "Sir, good luck to you."

One of my favorite cases is not on YT anymore. It was about a spoiled LA blondie who thought she had been wronged by a cop who stopped her for speeding, and she tried to dodge the bullet by saying her father was a retired LAPD officer. The plaintiff needn't say a full sentence to win the case against her while JJ swept the floor with her ass.

The grieving mother case always gets me. I mean WTF? Had my son been involved in a similar incident, I don't think I'd ever be able to forgive myself for allowing him to drive anywhere before he got his license. Instead, she justifies and defends her permissiveness stating she'd not done anything illegal because she only allowed him to drive on "the property". Had she never heard the adage "give someone an inch and they'll take a mile?" Any parent to a teenager knows that this is not merely a saying, it is an absolute fact. I was right there with Judge Judy in her disbelief and outrage at this woman's lack of accountability but I did think she was a tad mean when she poked fun at the boy's weight by saying "Your son's here with you today and he doesn't look like he's missed a meal" because he did seem hurt about the loss of his friend. Everything else though, Judge Judy hit it right on the head. It was an awful case.

OK I may be blowing this all out of proportion, but I vaguely remember case from early on in Judge Judy. All I remember, is she abruptly dismissing the case, and then turning to officer Byrd and saying “ I think you better get security out there.”

I almost feel bad for Judy sometimes. I mean some of the people she has to deal with are just… yeah. Then again, I kinda feel like she enjoys it. Judge Judy, making the world better one idiot at a time. And the last case. I heard somewhere, maybe in a comment section, that the mom had died and the son was in prison. I really didn’t know how to feel about it. On one hand I didn’t wanna be cruel and say they deserved it. But on the other I didn’t want to be foolish and say that they didn’t.

I like the one in a very early season, where a man was suing a supermarket cashier for giving him the wrong change on Christmas eve. The store was packed, he went to her register with a $5 bottle of wine and a $50 bill, and she accidentally shortchanged him by $10. He went back to the store about a half hour later, saw the manager, got his $10 back, and then went back to her register to yell at her and call her a thief. And then he sued her for $5000 for "retail theft." She had to go to small claims three times, because twice he didn't show up in court, they dismissed his lawsuit and he kept re-filing it. JJ awarded him the $5000. I'm only kidding, of course. The only thing she gave him was an earful, and then tossed him _out_ on his ear after awarding the cashier $2500 for all she went through. The applause in the courtroom was properly humiliating to that....I want to use an appropriate word here but then YT would delete this comment.

It's an act for a TV show. If she were to act like this in a real courtroom, (not one in Hollywood with TV cameras, and a director and producers in the background) she'd end up getting fired and even charged for disorderly conduct.
