I ACCIDENTALLY STARTED ANOTHER SERIES TALKING ABOUT A HAUNTED DOLL WHATS WRONG WITH ME

Dude I love the idea of the dolls going through their own little story. It's almost like a found footage movie where the main character is watching bad stuff happen to other people, but it's all done in physical form. There's the sense that you could just reach into the story and effect it, but it just never works out

Fun fact: the Native American doll is actually ol chief woodenhead from the second creepshow movie. His segment was him coming to life to avenge an elderly shop owning couple who had been murdered by gang of criminals trying to get to Hollywood

I actually feel so bad for the little girl. She kept trying to send heroes to protect her dolls but it didn't work 😢

Best part if this episode is the girl is dressed like she's in mourning when giving away the dollhouse 😂

I can’t help but imagine a situation where I go to her and hand her a Doctor Strange action figure and tell her “this should handle it”

Is it really a horror show if there ISN'T a creepy doll episode?

Imagine if she did took it out of the doll house when she first saw it, that would've been terrifying to see a head moving on it's own. Also very creative because there not a lot of a body part moving on its own we have more dolls moving by itself then body parts. It also reminds me of a story from scary stories to tell in the dark. It's call Me Tie Dough-ty Walker! I recommend that you read the book.

I like the idea that was was happening in the dollhouse WAS going to start happening to her family, but unlike her dolls, she's a smart enough kid to get rid of the head and avoid that happening.

Dude I think the doll head was creepier thing to see when all the other dolls are getting killed after the girl looks at the dolls house when that happens

Also i like how the episode didnt have the dolls reflect the family bc it would have been a little too predictable for my taste

I love this episode, for one I love how the little girl at the end is like NOPE. And just gets rid of the house. And there are really creepy moments, with the dolls. Also I recommend the Sibling Rivalry, just because of me it’s one of thee funniest episodes of Creepshow.

The native american figurine is actually modeled after the one in Creepshow 2, I didn't realize that until now.

I love Creepshow! I think a good episode to look at next would be either The Man in the Suitcase or Cassandra, two of my favorite episodes.

So yeah the dollhouses that you see Eve (Evie?) have is a small dollhouse for smaller dolls. These dolls and houses can be found at places like Hobby Lobby and Michael's. They're usually about 200-300 ish for the house alone and everything else (appliances, real working Christmas lights, toy animals) about 20ish bucks maybe 15 if you're lucky (or you're only looking for the animals/people/some plants). And you assuming houses like these are more expensive, you're thinking of like Barbie-esque doll houses, which sell for an average of 800 to 1,000 bucks a piece, but those usually include appliances, a doll or two if you're lucky, accessories, food, etc. I know way too much about dolls, feel free to ask me anything. XD

most horror doesnt make me flinch but something unexplainable makes me terrified of this one specific segment that even watching this review my heart is thumping i have no clue why the other episodes dont bother me at all

It's a shame that the OG Creepshow doesn't always get talked about - there was a lot of major horror heavy-hitters that worked on it, and the theme song is one of my favorite horror movie themes (right up there with Dead Silence and the older Phantasm movies). Also, the cockroach ending from one of the stories is classic! ^^

A show I'd highly recommend is Inside no.9, it's a British anthology that can best be described as a black comedy with the writers, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, both acting in all but 3 episodes. The show has a lot of horror episodes (mostly the season finales) I think you'd love, here's a quick list: The Harrowing (season 1- episode 6), Seance Time (season 2- episode 6), The Devil of Christmas (season 3- episode 1), Private View (season 3- episode 6), Tempting Fate (season 4- episode 6), the standalone Halloween special Dead Line, The Stakeout (season 5- episode 6), How Do You Plead? (season 6- episode 5). And keep in mind, this is just the explicitly horror themed episodes, almost every episode has some dark twist (The Understudy, To Have and To Hold, Tom and Gerri, The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge, The Riddle of The Sphinx, Thinking Out Loud, even the very first episode-Sardines)

I’m so excited for this new series as I watched all of Creepshow and was one of the reasons why I have a shudder account. I love this show and enjoy each episode and story. House of the Head is one my favorite stories as I felt creeped out and anxious for for Evie, love the whole vibe and the cool dollhouse scene camera shots and how Evie try to help the doll family as much as she could. She still afraid and worried for the dolls and of the head yet still try to “fight” it, it unnerving yet still has a childish feel to it.

I'm pumped that you are talking about Creepshow. If you get the chance to talk about Man in the Suitcase it would be awesome.

I gotta say I completely relate to the protagonist acting unwise here - I would absolutely put my grubby hands on the cursed bloody head. Probably wouldn’t even think twice about it. Also, damn, I hadn’t heard of this show but it genuinely sounds really good, I’ll have to check it out. I like the “they don’t tell you what they’re figuring out” comment, it alludes to the idea that there’s something deeper going on in the girl’s psyche without making the metaphor too heavy handed and taking away from the creepiness of the head.

Bro has put out consistent bangers, like i genuinely dont think ive watched a single video and been bored or clicked off it.

I like to think that the kid tried pulling the head out earlier. But it was either extremely hot, too heavy, or no matter how far away she put it, it somehow got back into the house

Man I legit thought the twist was gonna be that the smith smiths were real people and that Evie was actually god this whole time and that her parents would basically tell her she can't save them all....I'm not even religious so idk why I thought this was gonna be the twist.

so from watching this video i noticed the doll's in the house work on weeping angel (doctor who creature) laws each time the mc (main character) looks away they move anyway i thought that whole concept is neat (great video btw kingnusmi)

What I love about both the Creepshow movie and Creepshow series is both fully embrace just how fun horror can be. As dark and gruesome as they can get there's so much imagination and style that its a blast to watch. If you can get a hold of it I'd love to see some coverage of Tales From The Crypt. Also Tales From The Hood is worth watching if you love Creepshow and Tales. More people should see Tales From The Hood.

They could have made an entire series off of this stories premise of dolls being in miniature horror stories and the kids trying to help ( or make it worse that'd be funny ) its nice to see non malicious dolls in horror

Of course we can't have a spooky anthology series without a doll related story here. I'm questioning how can a head kill people? Then again anything can happen in a story. So i'm guess it either has psychic powers to tear people's heads off their body or it moves so quick, then it can decapitated people. Which explains how it's able to move quickly. I guess that's "using your head" here. I think I might've seen this episode before in the past. I just don't remember it or something. I shouldn't get "a head" on thinking though. Either way, what a interesting and creepy episode here. I guess this is using "your head" on what to upload next. Keep up the great work. And it's great to see you well again.

Absolutely check out the animated episode. I forget the names but there’s a family road trip and a guy stranded on an island. Both are so incredibly effective as horror. The sound design is fantastic
