"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" is a children Anthology Horror show that aired on Nickelodeon in the early-mid 90s. In today's video we take a look at the episode "The Tale of the Dark Music."
When a kid with bad luck moves to a new town he finds that when he plays music in his basement a cellar door opens with differing weird and spooky things. Will he be taken by the things in the Cellar or will he use it to his advantage? WATCH TO FIND OUT!!

If you're looking for any scary movies, In the Company of Wolves was a good one. I liked the story where the witch turned her cheating lover and all of his rich buddies into wolves to serenade her child at night, every night. The wolves aren't actually wolves, just dogs. I forget what breed.

Being a kid and experiencing early 90s horror anything as it was happening was super cool. That's one of the few things I appreciate the most about being born in 84.

Kid is like the least threatening bully ever. I mean, he looks like a rocker/ metal head and metal heads aren't exactly known for being bullies. I see what they were going for with his outfit - namely a direction similar to bandana boy from Welcome to Camp Nightmare - but it's just not working. I was expecting him to become mc's best friend by the end of the episode.

I thought this was a really great episode. It’s a creative story with a creepy plot that was executed well. I just wish Andy had feed his sister to the cellar and end on a cliff hanger. It would have been more creepy and eerie that way.

AYAOTD was actually scary, whereas Goosebumps was silly. I'll never understand people who like Goosebumps more and I grew up with both. AYAOTD had legit terrifying episodes for kids. Goosebumps was never allowed to go that hard because it was rated Y7 (AYAOTD was Y14).

AYAOTD was definitely scarier overall but each series had some episodes that were scary. The theme music for Goosebumps is more iconic but not as creepy either.

I personally prefer Goosebumps myself. I'm not too fond of the Midnight Society "segments" they have. I'd prefer to just the story itself. Also I'd recommend looking into The Nightmare Room! It's another R.L. Stine anthology series like Goosebumps and Haunting Hour!

Scream Queen 👑 This isn't about this episode specifically, but when it comes to that doll ghost 👻 girl that comes outta the closet 😮 Does anyone remember that horror film DOLLS from the 80's 😂 That's the 1st thing I thought of when I saw this! 🎉Yeah that movie was bad 😔 But still it was fun! ❤And the Dolls were awesome! The 1st one That Giant Monster Teddy 🧸 Bear 🐻 That was The Coolest effect! (I used to rent this movie SO much growing 😁 up! "The Dolls they're Tiny Little People! 😮Some of my other favorites were the toy soldiers that killed the 2nd robber. And her friend is the one that This doll reminds me of 😊 Remember it was the 80's So she was dressed like Madonna (in her black 🖤 lacy clothes) And (yes I got these outta order I know, don't kill me." 😊And her friend sees these glass eyes 👁️ Before she finds her friend who's this giant doll now.... That picks up her eyes holding them in her hands wearing the black 🖤 fingerless gloves 🧤 And ya know what I did? I have these friends Called Dollmaker's (Toymakers who got their nicknames from this movie) And they make me Dolls All the time, Like my Life Size Chucky and Tiffany. And since I remembered this movie, 🎥 I got another Tiffany Doll, Only she wasn't made to look like Tiffany from Chucky, she was made to look like The Madonna Doll in this movie 🎥 I just thought that'd be So fun! 😂And These Dolls are awesome, It's not just Tiffany, Chucky and my Madonna Doll. I have my own Megan (and going back to the old school horror films again They made me my own Dolly Dearest. Then they made me my own Megan (and I Actually have 2 Megan Dolls because Megan got a sister Lily Dee (only she's the Brunette version of Megan.) Well I loved That doll so much, (but I'm Not seeing this movie I just wanted the doll. To celebrate 🥳 The Orphan spinoff (I know it's older now, I get my ideas from Utube 😮) But I had my friends make me a 3rd Megan Doll who looks like Ester! Okay THAT is a lot of spooky doll fun!
