To sum up the review of the Skorpion machine pistol, it's the worst of all the machine pistols with one exception. The gun is amazing at hip fire and akimbo because it has no upward drift of the crosshairs.

@nekuth Glad it helped. I use these akimbo instead of the FMG9. The FMG9 is a bullet hose and kills super quick but I can aim these a lot better because of their no-recoil. Also because of that I can go prone and kill people from very far away, getting Longshots, with my akimbo Skorpions.

I'm glad that you do not recommend the red dot on the Vz.61, but for other reasons: The ejection port on the real steel Vz.61 is on the top of the receiver. This would be right where you would site a red dot or other scope! Obviously this wouldn't work because the empty cases would be prevented from leaving the breech ;) A great series of videos - thanks!

One thing not mentioned here is the sprint bonus with the extended mags, I know it wasn't known when this came out but it is still important. With extended mags, you will sprint twice as far as any other weapon. So, extended mags is really useful on this gun.

3:57 shitted on but yea, i found it's extremely easy to work on this gun in a hc dom. the hip spread is so tight that can you can run around 1 shotting everyone with it like a shotgun.

@EpicFknBrutality The point of handguns is to be able to pull one out quickly and efficiently if you're caught during a reload. If you have a gun with long reload times (or no sleight of hand), that's where the pistols come into play. If you're going on the offensive, then use the machine pistols.

@drumking72 It depends. Akimbo skorpions have a HUGE damage and are very accurate. Just a quick burst is enoungh to kill, but their recoil is pretty huge and their magazines are very small. It's good to use at small maps like Dome. Akimbo MP9s, instead, are pretty much like snipers if you burst out a few bullets, but they get outclassed at CQC by the Akimbo Skorpions. In my opinion, MP9s are better.

Amazing secondary for shottys, if its akimbo, and it gives you 75% longer sprint so its great to switch to it when taking a rush route

You should have mentioned how effective the scorpion can be at long range when you tap or burst fire. It sticks like the g36c so long as you don't panic

Akimbo Scorpions are a amazingly useful for playing defensively, in my experience.

Always use this as my secondary for the shotguns, to use on the long range battles. I can kill from far away with the skorpions akimbo and steady aim.

@Drift0r not fond of the FMG9, as it kicks like a mule for me, wasn't fond of the Skopions either as they kicked alot to with ADS, but cuz of the vid, i gave them a try to quickly get Akimbo, i do like it as a side arm with Sleight of Hand Pro when using a MK46, useful during a reload (and i don't have SA pro yet, so would the raise time be quicker with it?)

something you can also notice on the skorpion, is that gives you the ability to run much longer as if you're using extreme conditioning

I think it's worth mentioning that the Skorpion has the same sprint bonus as the USAS 12 and MP9.

lol...Made a little typo mistake here ^^ I'm sorry I got mixed up with the sizes...32ACP indeed is weaker but I was holding a .45ACP cartridge in my hand when watching this vid. Your absolutely right! :)

You didn't mention that the Skorpion with Extended Mags gives additional sprint time (Identical to extreme conditioning.) as long as you have it out. Same with the USAS 12.

Skorpion+ Extended Mags gives you a free Extreme Conditioning when you run with it. That being said, Akimbo Skorpions are absolutely epic.

You forgot to mention that they increase run speed no matter what your other weapon is when sprinting with em. Also, are they called Skorpions because the back/sides kinda look like pincers when aiming down site, or just because they deliver a 'sting'?

note that there's no hip-fire recoil (with skorpion) with steady aim pro. Without it, the akimbo style drags up+left. That said, beaten by FMG akimbo because of magizine size. No biased here. I actually prefer MP9.

If you stand/sit still then the hipfire box is TINY. I managed to beat a guy with a sniper rifle with my akimbo skorpions. He was about 15 metres away. If you plan on using just the dual skorps then try it when the riot shield on your back. That thing has saved my life a couple of times. No point having a useless primary.

i prefer akimbo skorpions above the fmg's :) you can shoot longer (slower and more damage) and that also means more accuracy :)

Before they were nerfed I loved using this gun akimbo. Then they decided to nerf its hipfire accuracy, the hipfire recoil and finally slowed down the fire rate. So the nerf literally made them useless because like driftor said they don't do anything special :(

Cool, but most assault rifles do 100+ in SP so it doesnt make much difference. Besides It has quite a bit of recoil in SP but only in MP is there no recoil.

@xCeeBee123 Well the MP9 is arguably better than the MP5, PM-9 and UMP45, because it has a faster time to kill than all of them except the PM-9. Maybe it's just my bias against IW, but there is definitely something wrong with the weapons in MW3 :l
