Well folks, this is it. This is the big one. This is where the Spanish government gets to decide if the car meets their rules and lets me register and drive the car on Spanish roads. The design and build of the electrical components has been child's play up to this point.
Take a look and find out if I'm driving the car around the sunny streets of Barcelona, or it's slowly rusting at the bottom of the sea.

Yay, congratulations for passing the ITV! It was a rollercoaster indeed, but I'm glad you were persevering and you pushed on during the hardest moments. As a bonus, it seems like you got a deep immersion into Spanish culture as well :D Looking forward to seeing you drive your electric classic Porsche on the streets of Barcelona!

Congrats Mike! I hate taking my cars for their annual inspections, let alone getting my own car EV certified, so I can identify strongly with your frustrations. It's all done now though and it's going to be super sweet cruising Barcelona in the 914!

Yeah I think this experience is like childbirth, I've already forgotten most of the pain, but I don't think I'll ever try this again!
