Hi Renee! I bought those chocolate covered blueberries...So delicious! Unfortunately, we can't get the Cheddar popcorn or the Rice-aroni Broccoli rice...I tried to find those products. I got my Chom-Chom roller from Amazon. What an amazing product! I love it! I don't have to get my vacuum out every day. Thank you for sharing that! :) What lucky pooches...they have their own snack cupboard...My pup has his own stash of snacks too! I love spoiling him! ;)

Hi Renee - Happy Birthday and many, many, many happy, healthy returns. It was such a treat for me to see your post this morning and to my surprise it was about Maxxie's & Pollux's food & treats. OMG - these dogs are adorable and it is so heartwarming to see how much you guys care & love them. Had a laugh when Maxxie growled at Pollux ... way to go Maxxie, you pulled rank!!! I have said before your video posts are my calming therapy and I look forward to them, sometimes I even watch previous posts just to see them play around & get some of Pollux's zoomies.

Happy Birthday! The small Nutro treats are a good size to use as training treats for Pollux. My big boxer mix will eat most anything, but my 10 lb. rat terrier is 14, has old teeth, and is highly allergic to grains. Bought some treats that said no wheat, soy, or corn so thought we were good. Turns out it had barley and we thought we were going to lose him. He is SO picky. He likes to change food every few days it seems. I’ve even taken to cooking him fresh food. He’s good for a few days and then wants to switch. It makes us a little crazy, but we love him so do whatever we can to get him to eat. For the last week it’s been pork and turkey franks with no fillers chopped up with grain free canned food mixed in. It’s time for me to cook him a fresh batch of food because he’s starting to get picky with the franks and canned food. He’s just lucky we love him so much or we’d strangle the little bugger. (We really wouldn’t so please no one get upset.)

Renee.....don't be too shocked if you one day come home to find that cabinet door open and Pollux and his accomplice Maxxie have helped themselves to treats. Your floor will be strewn with torn up treat bags. They smell those goodies and figure out a way to access them, especially if they're shown the methodology of opening various things. Smart and resourceful cookies they certainly are !

Hi Renee, I'm a fairly new viewer, started watching when you got Pollux. As a rescue mom, too, I am enjoying watching Pollux becoming part of your family. I'm discovering that, no matter how terrible their back story, when they finally get a loving home, and begin to trust their new family, they begin to recognize that life is behind them, and going forward, life is going to be great! Oh, BTW, my name is Renee', also! I began adopting about 17 years ago, when so many dogs, called, Pit Bulls, ( not a breed, just a basic name for dogs that look like any of 5 breeds of dogs, and mistakenly demonized because of the Michael Vick dog fighting media fiasco). The shelters were full og these sweet, misunderstood dogs, who were not being adopted, and being euthanized by the thousands each year. Long story, short; my first rescue was an abused, neglected, starving, Blue American Staffordshire Terrier, who had done nothing but have puppies for the first 4 years of her life! I had 11 love filled years with this sweet, gentle soul, who was my constant loyal companion. Sadly, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in September 2018. I now have another sweet, "bully", Daisy, who came to me from Texas, at the age of about 6 months. Gracie was also a Texas dog. I adopt from states that have terrible problems with stray, and abandon dogs. I worked in Texas for several years, and saw this sad problem first hand! I was told that my Daisy was found, abandon in a park as just weaned puppy.. She was tied to a tree! Well, enough history. I, also love chewy.com, especially since I don't have to drag a 30# bag of dog food across the parking lot and up 2 flights of stairs, and as the prices and discounts are great for those of us on a fixed income! With regard to the foam doggie shampoo; I used it on Gracie, as she hated water. I just distracted her, and hid the foam in a washcloth. You needneed one to rub the foam in, and then a I used a towel to dry. Loved how she smelled afterwards! Guess I'm getting too chatty, too much self separation, because of COVID -19...LOL! I love how nice your hair looks, gray. I wish my hair looked that nice, but I'm a natural ginger, and when we go gray, the color isn't gray, but a mousy Sandy color, so even though I think, like you, it's a big time suck, I probably won't be giving up dying any time soon! However, I am having a more difficult time finding the right shade of red. They don't make as many as they use to. I but several boxes at a time, but when I need more, they never have the same color, and the color on the box isn't usually what I end up with...LOL! Am anxiously waiting for you to get Pollux DNA test back. My first rescue, Gracie, was DNA tested in shelter, but not Daisy, and I think she's actually a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and not another American Staffordshire Terrier, which is how they listed her, on Petfinder.com. I know how much you love your dogs, and only do the best for them! I feel the same way about mine. I just bought dream box and looked all over the packaging to see that it said made in the USA. They are not, they are made in China and Vietnam and unfortunately there is no FDA regulations there. I then went to the reviews, and unfortunately dogs have gotten very sick and died from these products. I just wanted you to know because I know how much you love your dogs! As I love mine, I’m hoping we can spread the word so no other person loses their pet! Stay well love your vlog and your dogs!!
