I just love this dog. He reminds me of my Sadie. She was 16...she crossed over the rainbow bridge 2 years ago. I miss her so much. We also adopted her from a shelter, under same circumstances as pollux. She was the best dog ever. Happy birthday pollux!!!

Oh Renee, I really loved coming to Pollux s birthday party. He and Maxie are so adorable and the love that they receive from you and your family is heart warming. Pollux and I share the same birthday. How lucky am I to have a day to share with such a lovely dog. Polux has the best family ever! He is just soooo cute with his bowtie! ♡ My dog's birthday is similar to Polux. He receives new toys, new treats, a cake (homemade: peanut butter and cheese, 2 of his fav). I have to agree with you, they do know something is up and that it is an exciting day for them! 🐕🧁

By the way, I picked up the suggested cheddar popcorn, Toasted Cheez-Its and the peanut butter Kashi Go! I'm living with my best friend and her husband currently as I lost everything (including my mind temporarily) after my brother's suicide two years ago. It took me under. My friend is letting me take a year to live here and heal for the time being. I'm not able to do much financially in return but I was able to bring them new treat ideas which brought them total delight. Your good heart is reaching multiple people dear 💚 Thank you for being you. When I say that your videos are important to me, I truly mean it. Some days they keep me alive, helping me realize that there are in fact good people that exist in this world. Much love and respect.

Kristen Marosi I’m so very sorry about your brother. I’ve lost loved ones to suicide, and it leaves scars on your heart, but it is possible to heal and get through to better days. It sounds like you are getting there with some love and support from wonderful friends. Hugs to you hon.

@WELCOME TO MY CURLS, Thank you so much for inviting me to Pollux’s birthday party! It was absolutely adorable to see the love that Pollux has for his family. He reminds me of my dog, Shamus. The love Pollux has for y’all is exactly how my Shamus loved my husband and myself. It’s so true that when you adopt a pet from a shelter, they love ya more than if you had bought them from a pet store. My husband and I celebrated every single holiday with Shamus as if he were our child. Shamus absolutely loved getting presents for every holiday. On Easter, he’d get an Easter basket with toys and treats. We’d dress him up on Halloween and he’d help me give out candy to the children! I’d get him doggy candy treats, which he went crazy for. I bake him & my husband a birthday cake, because their birthdays were just one day apart. My husband got a chocolate cake and Shamus would get a strawberry pound cake. He would eat it so fast. I have so many memories of Shamus, I had pictures, but lost them in a fire. I’m so thankful that my family had pictures of Shamus and many of my other pets. So I now have a few pictures of my four legged children. I love your attitude about going gray & getting older. I’m now 62 and I’ve stopped dying my hair. My gray hair looks great. Seeing you and your attitude about going gray has helped me to embrace my gray hair as well as my age! I honestly don’t feel like I’m 62, I feel like I’m in my mid to late 30’s! We are as young as we feel and that’s great! We are forever young! God bless you and your family! Your KZfaq channel is great and I look forward to seeing y’all, so keep them coming!!

Always fun to see you with your lucky pets, and today’s party 🎉 was my icing on the cake!🎂 I laughed at Pollux trying to decide which bone to chew on, eating his cake (saving icing til last then gone in one gulp!) and the perfect ending to great birthday party: both pups crashed out on the sofa! (Must’ve been the sugar rush - or all the zoomies!) Lots of fun for all of us! Thanks!

Happy Birthday Pollux!! What a cute video. We're so happy he landed in such a loving home. You're the best mommy! Andy hey, after watching several Pollux videos, I'm 99.999% sure he has Jack Russell Terrier in him for sure. We've had JRT's all our married life (45 yrs) and all of them have those lovely, adorable, eat-em-up brown spots on their bellies and well, all over. Ha Ha. We love those big round spots. And his face looks almost exactly how one of our Jack's looked. Her face was mostly caramel color, except for her snout. OMG - we just loved those babies. They're all gone now. And we're trailing off with one last old baby (16 yrs old). She'll probably be our last - we're just getting too old to keep up with all their energy. They need really active families. Is it just me or does anyone else here feel like crying as you watch Pollux respond to the love he gets from his family? It’s so beautiful to watch him be loved, you can see his gratitude in his behavior and they way he looks and loves on y’all. 3rd time watching this. Can’t get enough of watching you and your beautiful family shower love on your shelter baby’s. Special place in heaven for you Renee. I do birthday party’s for mine too. Pollux looks like he could be my Casey girls twin!! They have the same colors and markings and ears. Shes my shelter girl who I adopted 5 years ago when she was 1 and her paperwork said " Shepard mix ", but suprisinly when I did a doggie DNA test on her, turns out she has ZERO Shephard in her!! I just love how you love your babies and it shows in your videos....luv it! I actually adopted her as a birthday present for myself, rather than spoiling myself with a Coach purse or a trip to the Spa...I adopted Casey, my first time EVER adopting from a shelter which reminded me of your Christmas adoption!! I got sooo lucky that my 1 year old male dog and her hit it off so well. 5 years later, they are thick as thieves! So cute.

I just met Pollux for the first time (on youtube) a couple of days ago. He's such a delightful pup, and as so many others have commented, he and his brother are both very fortunate to have found such a loving and caring home. Wonderful birthday party of Pollux, if all the worlds animals get a loving family like Renne, then no animals will be sad, the animals will always be happy. Thanks for loving and understanding Pollux and Maxie.

Pollux is such a cutie and he is so fortunate to have the family he has and a very resourceful mom. His birthday is the day before mine. Different vintage. All my animals were loved. We lost Mimi to congestive heart failure 2 months ago. I don't do birthday celebrations. Only 2 of my adopted animals had an identifiable birthdate. They are rescued stray cats, just 2 dogs. Cats wouldn't appreciate fuss. They tend to freak out when there is something out of ordinary happening around them. Regardless, I'd rather give money to animal welfare charities like Four Paws or Animal Aid Unlimited to name just 2. They do such a fantastic job helping/rescuing all kinds of animals in strife: donkeys, dogs, elephants, bears. They often need to secure rescue equipment, veterinary surgical equipment. Not to mention care
