i heard there's a study that says people feel more feelings of love in dangerous situations- so if you give them space and deescalate the situation that should give them space to feel their genuine emotions and think rationally about their decision.

Very similar situation to what I'm in right now! After months of no contact, he finally came back saying we should be in a relationship but his actions are not yet matching his words i.e. not initiating the dates.

I disagree gentlemen she loves you then let her show you give her radio silence until proven other wise no point in giving her free attention and not getting anything you want in return which is the relationship back. Give them space and that’s it start moving on but leave the door open

@@bob320 i guess we have to follow Clay's advice. Emotional connection is key. Fun thing is ,my ex and i are on the same page ,we are willing to be open/transparent with each other ,so I think I'll get her back sooner or later, Transparency was the main issue in our relationship

I’ve gone back and forth for decades with 2 exs that care deeply for me. One will care for me, but will back off when I get affectionate or talk about getting back. Another that will seek me out on fb and almost open a fb to make contact with me. She the type that don’t care about anyone but with me, she desperately wants to get back. We tried so many times and put me through hell and I don’t think she’ll ever understand a healthy relationship. Also she lies so much and hook on drugs and alcohol, I can’t trust her anymore. She used to be very pretty, but ate and the drugs have taken a toll. With her I don’t want have a relationship again, but knowing she’ll always want more, I can’t have anything to do with her. When she tries, it’s not easy to see her hurt. but I know it’ll never work.

I suspect that he is a liar! My ex told me that I am the only one who he loves and broke up with me on my birthday. However, the last 5 weeks he’s calling, texting and spending the night with me. Not much has changed except the title. Then I found out he went on a date with someone else. So, I’m hurt. I literally found out the day after he wanted to come over!

Okay...now tell me, how to scratch it and start over again.. Coz i srewed it up... She cane again saying she loves me but cant be in a relation... And i was like.... U know u love me, then whats the point of staying apart..?..., and i kept calling texting asking her to stay continuously....So after a month, today she asked me to end everything.. I miss her so much, she keeps on leading me on but never gets anywhere with me I feel as if I’m a rock, just loosing my mind daily, steady getting smaller and smaller the rock equals my heart, I’m losing my mind over her does she even care about me??? It is important in our journey that we also have to work in our way of being in order to heal and gain emotional stability and independence. 5 yrs and he kept dumping me. I bought a farm for us and so much but he now broke up again wants sex , but wants space and wants to grow more but told family we are broke up. I'm moving all my stuff he wants keys he wants all.things from a break up but won't take name off my farm. Says we need time have hope. But can't say he sees a future with me. Was worried about doing this with my seperated wife. Gave her a reason in her mind for us to spend family time together with our child. I realized this took pressure off her for a relationship she wasnt ready for. I dont believe she wants me out of her life but she does want time to heal. As long as she isnt with another man (which she assured me she has not interest in as we are still married) then im okay with time to work on myself. Honestly my only fear is by the time she wants to try again will I even see her as someone I still want?

on the 18th my ex told me, "I like acting and feeling like we're in a relationship without actually being in one." This is very confusing to me, and maybe she truly doesn't want a relationship. About a month ago I was "Friendzoned" and now it's evolved into this pseudo relationship. I think she might be scared to make the final "leap" to actually make it "official" although I don't really care for labels, and I've told her this before. We do all the things that a couple would do, kiss, hold hands, sex, text often, facetime, etc. Very confusing, should I just let it ride? Keep in mind all of this was about 3 months after the relationship ended and I applied no contact.

Mostly like my situation. We went through abortion and she lost trust in me and were having the perfect relationship before pregnancy. She messaged me after 1 week saying she misses me. 3 days ago she asked for us to be friends and I told her no need for labels, if you need help through these hard days I am here for you. We kiss, hug, hold hands and just had sex eventho she was saying she can't have sex for a while. She keeps calling me babe and says I love you every 2 minutes. So confusing but I love her and she needs my help so I'll be by her side.

@@iAmplify7 yes my friend we are 🙏🏼 Me and her are going to a lake tomorrow to spend my birthday with the two of us. I also ordered chinese sky lanterns to hold a memorial for our baby which we aborted (she knows) so hopefully everything goes good. To be honest my pain and sadness is mostly because I know that she's hurt and even tho I was the one breaking her trust by saying I don't want a baby, I hope that she can start trusting me again. I'll be fine as long as I know that she is healed. After that if she accepts me again it would be wonderful

Coach, My ex and I broke up last week over the dumbest crap. We dated an entire year. After 6 days she cracked and reached out to text me. Later that night she called me and we talked on the phone for a half hour. I made a lunch get together the next day and I went to see her today. We talked lightly, didn't fight and I confessed my heart to her. She didn't do the same but she gave me a hug and we kissed and she told me she still loves me and just wants to take things day by day... she doesn't know what to do right now...conversations have been short and brief since our lunch but communication is back... Keep it cool right? Don't pressure her? These are all good signs right? I'm just scared because she's going out this Saturday with her girlfriends to a bar for a Halloween Party, it's making me uneasy.. what should I do?

I broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years about 5 months ago. She moved a few hours away, I told her I still loved her and she said she also loves me and her feelings haven’t changed. However she said she’s enjoying being independent and having time for herself for the time being. We talk on the phone almost every day for hours. I visited her yesterday and we ended up sleeping together. This morning she told me her feelings hadn’t changed and she still wants to be independent for now. She doesn’t want the pressure of being with anyone right now, and enjoys the fact there are no expectations between us. Do I have a chance of getting her back? I am hoping as we continue to talk and spend time with one another, in a few months time she might be ready to get back together.

Me and my ex have been broken up for a month and shared quite a few hugs and kisses over the weekend while talking, it was all good. It felt like the beginning almost. But she's gone cold since and brushes off our intimate moments as nothing. I maybe pushed a little too far. My ex broke up with me and I do no contact but we have math class and send answers sometimes. Sometimes she shows her old self and is energetic and funny and then sometimes she is cold. Unfortunately sounds like this person isn’t worth fighting for. You shouldn’t have to fight for someone who would hurt you in that way. Focus on yourself, you’ll be okay.

@@emem6626 thanks for the advise. I’m 50 days into no contact now after I broke it. He has reached out 3 weeks into no contact but he didn’t say he wanna get back or commit. I’m afraid he’s already moved on tho.
