Very very theraputic to go for a wander amoungst nature. I was very supprised to learn that a tree with a TPO can still be chopped down if you wave an amount of cash to the right councillor... as in Rochford council & bloor homes.

I wish you would come to the wirral. There is a large stretch of land between moreton and Bidston that would make a fantastic wild life reserve. Re-wilding this area would be a massive boon to the wirral peninsula. I wouldn't have the first clue or idea on how to approach something like this and have no power to do so. Our council appears to be more inclined to sell the land off to private housing companies in order to build massive amounts of substandard housing. It breaks my heart and enrages me so much. The greed of a few is killing us and our environment. Please help.

Sorry Chris, but that woodland likely would have been ploughed over decades, even centuries ago if it hadn't been retained as game cover for hunting, probably fox hunting. Just saying.
