The thing about using ones haircolor from around age 20 has really helped med. My dyed hair (I'm 42) is almost the same color as the natural. I have the starburst pattern in my blue/green eyes, but I'm unsure if I'm spring or autumn. I tend to tan easy.

I’ve just been typed as a true spring, however while waiting for my results I shaved my head to grow out my natural hair colour, which has turned a very ashy brown with an ever-increasing amount of silver growing in, so looks like I’ve done completely the wrong thing 😅 I just could not stand the upkeep anymore! I said I would never dye it again (definitely never shaving it off again) so I guess I just need to find some way to make it work for me! And possibly book a post-analysis call in for some help 😅

Ugh, I hate the notion that some seasons can't pull off going grey. I think it's due to the misconception that grey hair is always actually grey or silver. Obviously everybody has their own grey but I think a lot of springs look amazing with their grey hair. They often develop a color that is not actually grey but more of a bright, warm ivory and I absolutely love the way it looks. Since springs can really pull of light, bright colours and have a natural brightness to their face they don't get washed out easily by a warm ivory white. It's not like everyone's grey is cool toned. Most of the time someone's grey hair will still suit their undertones. My dad's hair has a perfect ivory tone with a slight golden shimmer to it and it's great on him. I really hope I get that from him someday since I have quite similar coloring.

yes I have a friend who is a warm spring and as she greyed, she went almost ivory with a little warm grey. she looked so beautiful. I am a cool winter and have cool silver through my hair and that is not her grey.

I'm a spring (either light or bright), I'm 55, my gray is pure ivory blonde. I have zero cool gray in it at all.

I believe my grandmother was a spring based on the colours she looked great in. She had pure white hair, and everyone would always ask what she used to to colour it!

Isn't going grey actually going white? They "grey" is only the perception of the white hair with the natural color? The white hairs that pop up in my hair just make me look like I'm going blond, not grey. I struggle to define my hair color these days but it's a blondish brownish reddish color. I'm 98% sure I'm a True Spring, but there's the tiny bit of doubt that's unsure 😅
